Mr. Garcia called within a few minutes of my posting, and came out to my property within a few hours to assess the project and give me a bid. He then had a written estimate emailed to me the same day! We started the project the very next week, and everything was completely organized with loads of blocks, dirt, gravel, and equipment. Each day, all materials needed were there timely, so the project went very smoothly. Mr. Garcia and his team of workers were polite, efficient, and the hardest workers I've ever seen! Initially we were a little guarded because of all the horror stories you hear about shiesty contractors, but our experience with Paul has been nothing but positive throughout the entire build. He has a keen attention to detail and values good quality work. For example, there were a couple crucial details that were not described by our engineer, and Paul worked hard to determine the right course of action. In the end, what he came up with was better than we could have imagined. Not only is he personable and a knowledgeable contractor, he has an eye for aesthetic which was a delight as we discussed design options, from trim details to pergola hardware. In the end, Paul and his team built us a stunning 800 sf 2 story ADU and 400 sf basement garage, that feels spacious and contemporary while beautifully tying together with the exterior of our existing 1920s Tudor Revival home. I can not recommend Burlingame Contracting enough! Thank you Paul!!"
