USA Insulation has been America's comfort, savings and energy efficiency experts for over 35 years. With decades of experience and a name synonymous with quality, you can rely on our team to go above and beyond when insulating your home. We not only use superior USA made products and have highly-trained teams but we treat each home as if it were our own. We're proud to own and manufacture our proprietary USA Premium Foam Insulation at our corporate facility in Cleveland, Ohio. Our lightweight and nontoxic whole-home insulation solution is a simple three part blend that ensures a quality you won't find anywhere else.

"I was given all kinds of promises regarding my concerns. Which were; 1) Is the foam insulation going to make it all the way up the walls to the top? And how do you get past stringers in studs? 2) Will my siding be damaged. 3) Other things that will go wrong... I made these concerns to USA insulation numerous times along with giving them a history of how every time I have someone do work on my property, they do something to screw it up. I was assured over and over again, they would probe for stringers, and the foam would make it to the top of the wall. I was assured no damage to the siding at all. And that their guys were pro's and knew what they were doing. The siding has extensive damage. All the way around the house. The walls were never probed. When I asked the employees when they showed up, the answer was dismissive that they didn't have to probe because the house was built in 1961. Not sure what that has anything to do with anything... I temp checked the walls the next day and could clearly see a temp difference of 10 degrees and I drilled the walls to check and the foam insulation only made it to about 4 ft into the walls. There is NO insulation past 4 ft. On ANY of the walls. They also destroyed a live electrical wire in the wall wrapping it up in their heavy duty drill. They hap hazard repaired it and so far I have not turned the breaker back on for fear of an electrical fire. In the attic, I was told there would be a cardboard dam where the access lid is at so they could fill the insulation all the way up. There isnt. And there is a several square foot area where there is no insulation at all. The people they sent are inexperienced and one of their employees came armed with a .380 semi automatic hand gun and i was given a long story of his prison time, how he shot lady back in oxnard and on and on and on. Now I have to worry about mine and my sons sons safety because this guy is an ex chiques gang member with numerous stints in prison for violent crime against people who supposedly did him wrong. I also have recorded video of him showing me his gun with an extra clip of ammunition. Now that said, I'm all for people who want to change their life and fly right. Ive been down that road myself and I did change my life. Im clean and sober and I live clean and try my best to be a good citizen. Its taken a lot to get to the point of getting my life together, getting my credit fixed, buying a home and trying to put a business together which is now in jeopardy because of this one employee. And while this guy told me he was trying to live right and not get in trouble, when he showed me the gun, I knew right then he wasn't doing anything to change his life. Evidentially he has strikes against him so if he is caught with this gun it could mean a life sentence for him. Not too smart. And with the news seemingly reporting how disgruntled people are murdering people who out them or do something they perceive was against them along with all the mass shootings I am now at a place where I am going to have to sell my house and move far away for fear of what might happen because of this now, legal matter regarding USA insulation.. This company has thus ruined my life and my efforts at opening my machine shop!!! Further, they are trying to play the blame game, and are trying to make the damage they did my fault. AND they are still sending a convicted felon who shot a woman multiple times in oxnard into people's homes. I'm sure homeowners would not be ok with this. These people are liars and manipulators. Other homeowners need to check their walls to make sure of the foam insulation they had installed. If this was done to my house, it was done to others. Further, the sheriffs dept and the ATF are getting a thumb drive with the video of the gun incident and the phone conversation, and I am also following up with state authorities in regard to their company. They are taking NO accountability at all. I am including a link to the security video of the gun incident as well as a link to the damage they did and botched job with the foam insulation. [*** Link removed ***]!Av39fMTANTeOgTaEfV1o6eXgEukk?e=BntlSS [*** Link removed ***] This company needs to be shut down completely. They are liars and they hire people without properly vetting them and they are sending violent criminals to the homes of innocent people. This company needs to be avoided at ALL COSTS!!!"

I fill out Washington State Residential Energy forms for permit applications. I just retired from Pierce County Building dept. and the biggest thing in our reviews was Energy forms being filled out correctly. Upon retiring I moved to Lewiston Id. but with the internet I can work from home Via Email. Get a-hold of me to go over what I need to do the forms and the pricing.

Insulation questions, answered by experts

Most projects take 1-3 days, depending on area size and insulation type.

DIY installation is feasible with the right protective gear and knowledge, but professional installation ensures full coverage and maximum efficiency.

If you’re using faced insulation with paper, face the paper toward the inside of the room during the installation process.

A good way to remember this is that the paper should face the “warm side” as it’s the vapor barrier, meaning it should face toward where the heat will be coming from.

In addition to adding insulation to your attic, you may want to add a radiant barrier. A radiant barrier works by using reflective material, such as foil, on the attic floor. As heat penetrates the roof and enters the attic, the radiant barrier reflects the heat upward and back through the roof. If you receive a lot of direct sunlight on the roof, using both a radiant barrier and insulation in your attic can provide significant benefits.

Every exterior wall in a house should have insulation. Municipalities require that new construction homes come with adequate insulation to handle the local climate. The state or local building code lays out the minimum insulation requirements. Interior walls seldom have insulation. Exceptions include interior wall insulation for sound dampening or temperature control of specific rooms.
