Highly recommend for any insulation project. Dan Hope is extremely knowledgeable concerning home insulation and was pleasant to work with. I have cantilevered second story floors and poor insulation was causing a duct vent to develop condensation with this 2024 heat wave which caused moisture to drip down inside of my first floor ceiling. Dan fixed the insulation issue and then some. He inspected the house and advised improving the insulation around a room that sits above our garage that was notoriously difficult to temperature control. I would hire him again for another project in a heartbeat.

He did not clean up after he finished the project and would not rectify after I complaint about the situation.

I think itâ s absolutely critical that 1) your contractor follows the terms of the agreement. In my case, Dan changed the strategy from drilling holes to taking out an entire swath of drywall along the wall and along the ceiling totaling about 60 sq ft of impact to drywall. He did this without asking me. 2) workmanship is really important. In my case, the wall and ceiling Dan cut into look terrible. Dan came out to do the sanding four days after doing the insulation. For some reason that I do not understand, he did not fully sand the wall or the ceiling. I posted the photos on a google review. He acknowledges that it does need to be sanded further, but he would not schedule a time to come. We had a whole 8 days to get it done before it would be in the hands of the painter. I offered to put it on the painters scope with a reimbursement but Dan wants to keep the money yet would not complete the work. 3) But then even worse, I've been messaging Dan for a week to finish the project and rather than work to remedy the situation with me, he is attacking my character on google and calling me a drunk because he saw a bottle of sparking apple cider (the ones that pregnant women and child drink) in my house. This is a terrible lack of character when all I have requested is either a return of $300 from $3600 (100 because I had to extend my storage since the garage is not move in ready, 200 for the painter, and the actual cost of an electrician to fix a light that Dan broke.) Instead of working with me on this, he is attacking my character. I do not respect someone who has the option to make things right a few different ways, and chooses this behavior instead.

Dan Hope was wonderful to deal with; professional, responsive and pleasant.

They put in extra additional insulation put up in our attic in our basement. He was just awesome! He was knowledgeable, he was honest and the gentlemen showed up on time. He fixed our issue.

Wow! They exceeded my expectations. I got 3 consultations and chose Pilot because Dan, the owner, is professional, knowledgeable and friendly. Dan is an expert in his field and it Shows. He sealed and insulated my attic for a very fair price. There were a few items he mentioned I could do now, or postpone. I chose to postpone them and it was not a problem. I started the process on December 1 with my first phone call. My consultation was 12/9 and my project was done on Jan 3 in under 3 hours. It has been warm the past few days, so I am eager to see if I feel the difference in the warmth of my home once it gets cold again.

A great experience from the initial visit and estimate with Dan and the install by Christian and John. Same low price as second firm and much lower than first. Can't recommend highly enought.

This company is awesome. Everything from Dan (the owner) showing up to the estimate, to followup questions regarding the estimate, punctual, thorough, honest, great communication, and clean! We noticed an almost immediate difference while they were still working in my attic. I researched almost a dozen companies back before Covid and after, had to put project on pause during Covid. Glad I waited to find these guys. These guys are fantastic!

It was a little more expensive than the two other bids I got, but I trusted the owner who, unlike the others, really listened to my concerns and preferences. Christian, the installer did a fast and efficient job above and beyond expectations. He was charming, hardworking, and fixed or repaired damaged or disconnected AC ductwork he discovered in pereparation for installing the insulation. He arrived on time, finished the job faster than I expected and did an immaculate job of cleaning up after the work.
