"Brian has saved us a few times from house leaks. The first time the main was cracked somewhere, pouring water into our driveway. Brian responded to our call for help very quickly, came out the same day and gave us a very reasonable bid (unlike the few other companies we called which asked for large emergency fees before coming out and didn't even have time to come out immediately - 24 - 48 hours out for a main leak!). Brian found where the leak was coming from after digging for a few hours, patched the main line, and installed a new main shut off (previously a wrench was required to toggle the water to the house), all for much less than other companies quoted over the phone. The second and most recent time Brian came out was to assess and fix a downstairs can light leaking water. Brian responded quickly and came out the same day we called. He quickly found the upstairs toilet seal was no longer viable, resealed the toilet, and cleaned out the leaky can light, again for a very reasonable price. Brian is a great plumber and I highly recommend him and his team. Thanks so much, Brian!"

"I spend 475 on the snaking drain and Cason. It was going well. It might not be the cheapest one that I can find, but they are the first one response to me and willing to take small jobs. Some later contractors have minimum charge for bigger jobs. With everyday is busy, I actually have no complaints on the price."

"Noe was fantastic in working to clear the clogged sewer-line between my toilet and my septic system. He used a high pressure hose and a sewer line camera to identify the material causing the blockage. The blockage was cleared within 45 minutes! Thank you"

"Went very well. The plumbing technician did a thorough job of checking our piping and also vleaned out a clogged drain. The electrical technician identified outlets that needed to be changed to meet code. Electrical work was very expensive though."

Drain Cleaning questions, answered by experts

Yes, you can pour water down the toilet to help it flush. For each flush, you’ll need 1 to 2 gallons of water for newer toilets or 3 to 5 gallons of water for older toilets. Rather than dumping the entire bucket in all at once, pour the water in slowly for the best results. If you’re pouring water down the toilet to help it flush after a clog, only use 1 gallon of hot water.

A bit of water in the bowl can help unclog a toilet, especially if you're using a plunger. However, if the bowl is full to the brim, you'll need to strap on gloves and remove some of the wastewater in a cup or container so it doesn't overflow when you try to unblock the pipe. If you're concerned about it filling further, manually close the flapper in the toilet tank or turn off the water supply to the toilet.

Food grease, soap buildup, paper products, and tree roots often cause serious clogs.

There are a few reasons your snake won’t go down the floor drain. One common reason is a large obstruction in the drain that is causing a blockage. You can remove any debris you see in the drain before trying to snake it. In addition, the snake might not be long enough to reach the clog, or it might be the wrong diameter.

A saturated leach field can result from various underlying issues, so it's best to call a professional septic company to diagnose and treat the problem. Depending on the cause of the saturation, potential fixes include pumping out a full septic tank, adding more bacteria to the tank, or regrading the soil to fix low spots. It may also be necessary to reroute rainwater and runoff away from the leach field using gutters, downspouts, and extenders. Once the primary issue is resolved, planting specific types of vegetation over the area can help absorb excess water. In more severe cases, you might need to install a larger septic tank or replace the leach field entirely.
