"I have a new lawn and moles were destroying it.  Mike came when he said he would come.  He put granules in several places in my yard and gave me a 45-day guarantee.  He also assured me that it could take up to two weeks before the moles would be gone.  It took about ten days but then I saw another mound.  Mike sent his crew to my house but another mound again.  Mike came back himself and put his product in the yard.  Hopefully the problem is gone but he said he would come back if I see any more mounds.
Mike was responsive to me and I won't hesitate to call him again if the moles return."

"Sean and Richard did an amazing job getting rid of the woodpeckers getting into our attic. They removed the existing woodpecker nests from the attic and installed "bird blocks" around our house in the likely places. They were very nice to work with and very professional. They came when they said they would and did an amazing job, for a fair price and finished quite quickly. They did everything they said they were going to do. They gave us a guarantee and encouraged us to contact him with any questions. I did text Sean, and he responded quickly with a good answer. I would highly recommend U.S. Animal Control of the Great Northwest!"

Pest Control questions, answered by experts

While you don’t have to fully evacuate your home after a bed bug treatment, you will have to stay out of the treated rooms (or the whole home) for at least four to five hours after treatment. In most cases, you can return to sleeping on your existing mattress and use your existing furniture, but it’s best to confirm this with a bed bug pro.

There is no exact science here, due to the nature of nests and how mice raise their young, but a good place to start is to inspect the droppings. A single mouse poops a lot, leaving around 50 droppings in a single day, likely near a primary food source. If you find only sporadic droppings, you likely have a small infestation. If you spot large mounds of droppings, you are dealing with a big problem.

Bees usually have thicker, fuzzy bodies, while wasps have slender, smooth bodies. Behavior and nesting also differ.

You should not squish a roach because it can spread disease, attract more roaches, and release allergens. Roaches feed on the bodies of dead roaches, making more of them come. Squashing an individual roach only kills that one, whereas boric acid powder or baking soda can kill an entire population because it travels back to the nest before dying.

In general, mouse droppings can remain infectious for 2 to 3 days at room temperature. Through their urine and feces, rodents can spread harmful diseases to humans. Common infectious diseases include hantavirus, salmonellosis, leptospirosis, and LCM.

However, depending on the specific virus and environmental conditions, mouse droppings can carry viruses for shorter or longer periods of time. For example, Salmonella can survive in mouse droppings several days and even weeks.
