He cleaned it, and deodorized it with six injections of an enzyme that continues eradicating the smell for an additional eight hours. I thought the $175 price was well worth it. This couch is over 30 years old but is still so solid and comfortable, and it got the TLC it needed. Darrin showed up on time, and had no issues reaching our apartment on the 4th floor. The hoses he was able to bring through the window from the parking lot without disturbing my neighbors. This was especially helpful during the pandemic. After cleaning it looked great when it was wet, but some of the stains showed when it dried. I called the next morning and they came back that day and got almost all the stains out.
