"I hired Shamrock Chimney to clean and inspect my chimney for the sale of my home 4 weeks in advance of the deadline. I let them know numerous times that I had a deadline to provide the report. They rescheduled 4 times, one of the times telling me they were on their way and then following up with a text saying they gave the appointment to another customer. I let them know I would pay an extra fee if it meant they could keep the appointment, noting that I was under contract to provide this report. I reminded them of this each time they called to cancel, and was laughed at once and told it was "not their problem that it was heating season." After the final cancelation, I let them know I would now miss my deadline for my house contract and they again said that was not their fault and that an appointment is not a guarantee - regardless of circumstance. I was in tears and as a business owner cannot fathom treating customers with such disregard and disrespect."

I was then able to schedule an appointment for about 7 weeks out to have my pellet stove cleaned. The day prior to the cleaning a work conflict came up and there was a chance I needed to reschedule the appointment. I called and left a voicemail explaining that I needed to know how long the appointment would take and that if it took longer than 1.5 hours I would need to reschedule. I received no call back. I called the next day (the day of the appointment) first thing in the morning, and had to leave another message stating the same thing. I STILL never received a call back. The stove technician (Noah) called to let us know he was on his way that afternoon and was able to finish the cleaning on time. The stove was cleaned adequately and he was both pleasant and respectful. Bottom line: Good luck scheduling an appointment or communicating with this business on your own time table - there is just no way to get in touch with anyone until they choose to call you back. That being said, one they arrived they were able to do the job adequately without further issue."

My service is very wide ranged. I have many clients that just have me do virtually everything from here fall and spring clean up to taking care of there pool aan anything that might come about. Such as a roof jog or a garage they want built. Generally it is only me doing the work but from time to time I might have a helper. I tend to work time and materials but will give bids on jobs. Tends to work out to be a higher number. It's hard to forsee every possibilty in the job. I tend to bill on a weekly basis but if discussed, i will do sooner or when job is complete.
