"I thought the price was good. They were very cordial and it was easy to schedule the work. He moved things around and he cleaned up after himself.  It was an old kitchen and took some work to get the walls smooth in some areas.  We Went with a light paint and in some areas you could still see the roughness.   We emailed for several months and he was to come back out and smooth out those areas.  He ended up never coming back out to fix the work."

Building a bathroom cabinet can be cheaper than buying one, especially if you have woodworking skills and tools. The cost of materials can be less than that of a premade cabinet. However, buying a ready-made cabinet might be more convenient and cost-effective if you factor in your time and effort. Custom-built cabinets offer more flexibility in design and materials, while pre-made options provide ease and faster installation.

Options include stock, semi-custom, and custom cabinets, each offering varying levels of personalization and cost.

It can take anywhere from two to six hours to install bathroom cabinets, depending on the complexity of the project. Keep in mind that this doesn’t include the time to build custom cabinets if you go that route. You can also expect the project to be on the lower end of the range if you hire a pro, as opposed to DIYing the task.

It’s best to stick with lightweight cabinets, such as medium-density fiberboard, if you don’t have a wall stud to secure them to. Unless you’re attaching the cabinet to a flat board attached to wall studs, it’s best not to risk it with heavy cabinetry or contents. Solid wood cabinets and heavy dishware should be avoided if you cannot secure the cabinet to a wall stud. Either way, always check the weight on your wall anchors and be sure not to exceed it.

Make sure your shelves are no more than 12 inches deep. Any deeper and it will become hard to access items towards the back of the shelf. Yet, for larger walk-in pantries, homeowners may prefer 15- to 18-inch shelving to make room for larger appliances and cookware.
