"We hired charles graves Painting to refinish all the walls, ceilings, and wood trim in our four bedroom home. It was a big undertaking and they were able to get it done while we were away. It was very pleasant coming home to a newly painted home. The new color undertones have completely changed the ambiance and we love it. The Duration washable matte is very nice. Here is a recap of our experience: We met their company estimator at our house. After a series of questions and clarifications we accepted their bid. We met with project manager, in the morning, for a walk and received great recommendations and advice on how to proceed with certain projects. I had my original 1994 oak cabinets and builder-grade floor/countertops/sink replaced with quartz counters and porcelain tile floor and the cabinets were refaced with new color and doors. "Amid the hellish days of renovating came Virginia Bathtub Refinishing. They gave me the lowest bid, the earliest scheduling, and a perfect job. Cheerfulness is often underrated. The two workers were proud of the skill they'd acquired and happy to explain what they were doing. I'm so satisfied with the work--and the price that was half of what some other companies quoted--I am going to have them return to do the ceramic tile on the floor, even if it doesn't hold up as well as the walls, as I was advised. I wish all the work being done to the house was as high quality as this."

"Matt is a very nice, professional person.  All went well with a slight exception for the garage doors- they are mahogany wood and the wood panels used to replace the originals did not match the original wood type, nor the grain.  Hence, the grain, which shows through as well as the stain color on the new panels do not match well with the original panels surrounding them.  Matt tried very hard to be helpful and came back to re-stain the panels a few times.  I am a professional in the design/architecture industry and tried to help with suggests as to how we could arrive at a color that would match best.  Each time we spoke about it, he was responsive, professional and courteous.  Ultimately, I would work with him again on other projects due to his professionalism.
