"Thank you for cutting our lawn. Matchless blades did a great job and we appreciate his hard-work. We asked for our grass to be cut short and he did just that. He took his time to make sure everything was done correctly. We look forward to our next lawn cut"

"Anthony is so efficient. He definitely works smarter not harder. He was only here for 3.5 hours and trimmed trees, bushes, and removed undergrowth across the entire width of our back yard. We liked him and his work so much he is coming back to do more next week. His prices were very reasonable. If you need yard services, you should give A&J Lawn Care a call or find them on Angie's List. You won't be disappointed!"

"Very pleased with the work that was done. The crew was very professional, considerate and cleaned up afterwards. The trees were between the houses and Butch was very careful as to where the branches and trunks would land after cutting. The job was done in one day."

"As we were fearful that the leaning tree could press even further onto our home we wanted it out quickly. He was able to come out the next day. He had a full crew, did all the work and cleaned everything up. Swept the deck clear. Blew the sawdust into the mulch to make more mulch, every limb and leaf was gone. They put everything back in its place. I can't say enough good things about how professional and efficient they handled everything."

Brush Chipping questions, answered by experts

In the short term, you’ll have a lot of fallen trees to deal with. Tree removal services costs typically start at $200 per tree and increase based on species and size. Then, you’ll have to deal with the loss of trees: That means a loss of shade and a greater risk of rain runoff and erosion. Also, you’ll miss out on the health and aesthetic benefits of having trees on your property, which could even affect the resale value of your home.

That being said, cutting down a tree it’s not always a bad idea. Trees growing too close to rooftops can present fire hazards or debris problems. You may need to remove diseased or dying trees to prevent future issues.

You can choose between weekly leaf removal services throughout the fall or a single cleanup at the end of the season. If you want to maintain a pristine lawn, weekly service is a good idea to keep up with falling leaves. Alternatively, if you prioritize saving money, you can wait until all or most of the trees on your property are bare and pay for a one-time service. In most areas, this is typically in early to mid-November. While a single service is more budget-friendly, your yard will not remain leaf-free for the entire season.

Clearing 1 acre of land takes anywhere from two to 12 hours for a professional team, depending on what they’re removing. The amount of time needed to complete the project depends on the size of your acreage, the land’s condition, the size of the crew completing the work, and what type of equipment they’re using. Smaller projects normally take a few hours, while larger projects may require one or two full workdays.

If you are xeriscaping a lawn from scratch, your best bet for preparing the lawn is to work with a xeriscaping specialist in your area. The most common first step to making the transformation, however, will be to remove the turfgrass from your lawn. The subsequent steps will often include amending the soil to support new plants and installing low-drip or drip irrigation systems.

Using a leaf blower is often the easiest way to pick up leaves. It quickly and efficiently gathers leaves into manageable piles, requiring less physical effort than manual raking. Additionally, you can choose to bag the collected leaves or use a mulching mower to break them down into natural mulch, simplifying the cleanup process further.
