"Classic Granite and Marble (CGM) helped us through the process of replacing our countertops and upgrading our kitchen. Andrew and the rest of the team there were very helpful and informative. They assisted us in understanding our options, which materials were available and the advantages and disadvantages of each. We choose granite as our best choice. CGM has a large number of selections available and was willing to walk us, literally, through their warehouse so we could look at and touch the options. They provided us with samples of those that we were interested in so that we could see what the stone looked like in our kitchen. The installers arrived on time and did a very professional job. We felt like we had time to review and ask questions and did not feel rushed in any of the process. The job was very well done and looks beautiful. They also installed the sink that we bought, it all looks so nice. I want to thank the crew at CGM for a great job. We are waiting for our tile installer to do the back splash and have some trim and painting to finish on our end, but the upgrade to our kitchen is wonderful. Thank you!"

"I contacted Underground via e-mail and got a call from the owner, Ms Holt. She was going to have the office contact me. JoAnn the office manager contacted me to see what dates would work for the assessment of the job. We were not charged for the assessment visit. I must say from the office to the Technician Bruce and his team, we were extremely happy! So helpful. Bruce arrived on schedule. He let me know he would flush the pipe and run a camera thru the pipes to diagnosis the problem, what the price would be. Great news, the pipe was clean, and whole. No tree roots. The problem was caused by the secondary pipe being jammed into the main pipe blocking it from functioning properly. So the secondary pipe was installed incorrectly, causing us a lot of damage. Bruce made a small hole in the black top where the two pipes were connected installed a ‘Y’ connector and flushed both pipes! It works. Thank you all."

"My Air Conditioner just died and I had to quickly find a reputable, local company to replace it. After having a local contractor come out and provide me with a bid that seemed really high, I looked on NextDoor and saw a reference to Angie's List and specifically Automatic Climate - we used to use Angie's list and so I went there an checked it out - Automatic Climate had the most "A" reviews - something like 700+ in the Richmond area. Figuring I'd pay more but also recognizing that there's peace of mind paying a bit extra for quality work from a local company, I contacted them for an estimate. A gentleman named Michael who's their VP of estimates contacted me shortly -Michael was immediately likeable and came across as totally knowing his stuff - he explained the story of the company and how through their 4 step installation process, they differentiate from the other 199 HVAC contractors in the Richmond area. He came out for a quote and left a professional packet of materials for me to look at - we decided to go with them - Bottom line - these guys were awesome. Highlights: 2 years 0% financing, timely completion, and perhaps the most surprising thing, their bid was the lowest of the 3 I received (and of course the people, from Michael to the lead installation manager Chris to their receptionist. I am now a raving fan of Automatic Climate (and actually Angie's list because I see why they have the most positive ratings.)"

"Obtained several estimates ranging from $550 to $1300. We decided to hire Davis & Green because they were the only company that would install our living room fan without cutting into the drywall. Upon arrival, the installers were very polite and began work in the attic. Prior to 12:00 p.m. they had cut all of the holes in the ceilings for the fans and recessed lights upstairs and had the wires ran. After lunch they assembled and installed ceiling fans and wired everything up on the second floor. On day two, the same two men arrived to wire and install the ceiling fan between floors. They were able to run the wires under the house (crawlspace) and under the siding. They finished before lunch. We provided the recessed lights (for styling purposes) and we bought the wrong type of canister. The installers said they would use theirs and did not charge any extra for the items. We also decided to buy our own recessed lights because they charge $40 each and $45 to install each one. Even though it was our error, they went above and beyond and allowed us to get our money back at the home improvement store by returning the canisters we had purchased. Also, we should note that the $550 estimate did not include installation of the ceiling fans (wiring only)."

"Came to do the work within 5 days of my call (nonemergency project) when others said it would be a month before they could get to me. Also, the project was more time-consuming than I thought when I described it to them but they did not charge me more than the phone quote. They had to go to a home improvement store and get a toilet as the one I had purchased myself was damaged when we opened the box (not the plumbers fault at all). Then they had to chip away brick and block in the house foundation and crawl through a long crawlspace to install the faucet. They did it all with courtesy and cleaned up after themselves."
