"We needed a reliable contractor to fix problems with our foundation. Lux Foundation Solutions was recommended to us based on previous work by the West Virginian realtor we worked with for our house. First, Matt came out, performed an assessment and explained everything well. He was friendly and answered all my questions about the work being performed. That set the tone for a great experience! After the estimate was received I made an appointment. The day of the appointment Adamâ s team arrived exactly on time: I live somewhat remote and that his team was on time really speaks for the company and itâ s work culture and ethics! Adam and his team worked in the crawl space, which was difficult for me to get into. Adam kept me informed throughout the process and even took pictures after the job was done to show me the results. The quality of the work speaks for itself! Iâ m very happy to have hired Lux Foundation Solutions and they are my first company to call if another job needs to get done! I highly recommend the company for your crawl space work!"

"We are extremely happy with the work done by Thomas Custom Builders (TCB). Overall they did an amazing and outstanding job! They had a contractor on site, on time every day. Brian S. was professional, helpful, patient, hard working and skilled both in managing subcontractors and doing work himself. I trusted him with our home and would work with Brian/TCB again easily. I have already recommended their company to others. TCB renovated a few parts of our house, added electricity to a shed and added an entire master bedroom suite on an additional floor (adding approximately 550 sqft to our house). They finished earlier than expected. Our neighbors couldn't believe how fast the addition was completed and how well done. Any additional costs from the original budget estimate were due to our choice to add more work. I waited to write a review. I wanted to live in the addition for a little while to see how everything holds up. We have had only minor things arise and have been very pleased with the responsiveness of Brian and TCB to come back out and check on things. They came back to add a bracket to a new countertop that moved slightly, they shaved a door that was sticking as the weather changed, they fixed the damage done when carpets were installed by another company, they arranged for a rep from the hot water heater company to come out and fix a noise issue, all done at no additional cost to us. I have worked with contractors before but nothing on this level. It wasn't perfect, there were concerns that came up. I had to learn that this was major construction and with major construction comes mess. Brian and his team addressed our concerns and remedied any issue fairly. With so many negative stories I've heard from people who worked with other companies, I am so very thankful that we had such a good experience and ended up with such an amazing master suite and changes to our home. We love it and we receive many compliments. We chose to work with TCB because they came highly recommended by a neighbor who had similar work done and were very satisfied with their outcome."

"We had a master bathroom completely gutted and remodeled. Sean designed the layout and Jason was the project manager. We were very impressed with the level of quality in everything from the initial design to the final result. The minor issues that did come up were resolved very thoroughly. "I found my basement had some mold then hired a handyman opened the drywall. The situation is severe than my expectation, so I use Angie's list to find someone who can fix it. The whole consultation and quotation process is not easy because basement waterproofing is not very common. How to fix it (fix it from inside or outside the basement) is the most important issue need to be clarified. Different contractor give me different proposals and the price are huge different even they recommended a similar solution, and their explanations cannot convince me. I am so happy finally I called Chris. He is very professional, not only told me to fix it exterior but also explained why. The whole work took 3 days and was completed good. They completed the exterior waterproofing and also replaced several downspouts with pop-up drain at the end. They also replaced one extra downspout (not related with the waterproofing work) for free. When they finished the work, they cleaned the site and spread the grass seeds and straws too. One week after they completed all work, one downspout has some leaking issues, I called Chris, and He sent his people to fix it in the second day and fixed it immediately. Now, my basement humidity levels can reach 45%-50% (before the waterproofing, it never lower than 70%)."

"m in process of selling my house and I got dinged for what I originally thought were minor foundation cracks. I decided to have multiple companies come in and take a look at the issue. Company A came out and decided I needed a tier system costing 15K. I almost had a coronary. There were no signs that I had a major foundation issue so I found this a bit suspect. Next, I had Greg from NV Waterproofing come out do a visual inspection and take some measurements using his laser and level. In the end he told me I had normal settlement and to do nothing. Not even fill it b/c that way you can monitor it over time. I offered to pay them him for his time and he respectfully declined. I wish I had some work for him but I guess leaving a glowing review is the next best thing. I cant speak highly enough of Greg and NV. It makes me feel warm and fuzzy knowing their are good, honest business still out there."

"From the start of the estimate with Jon to the insulation project with the Team Leader Carlos, the project went well as expected. Jon was very professional and knowledgeable. He did not try to up-sale services I did not need, and I appreciate his honesty. Jon went over the appropriate insulation for the attic and the garage ceiling to bring our home to a comfortable level. Carlos and his crew did a great job communicating with me while performing the insulation. Carlos immediately notified me of a leak he discovered from the attic fan and temporarily paused the work on the attic and moved to the garage ceiling insulation while I addressed the leak. As a customer, the only comments/suggestions I would give to the crew is: (1) make sure they keep their tools and materials off the lawn (2) make sure the plastic wraps from the materials they use and trash does not get blown away to the neighbor's yard/driveway, and finally, (3) ask the homeowner which bathroom the crew can use while on-site. Overall, I am very happy with Comfenergy and their service. In fact, I have already recommended them to a curious neighbor."
