"SafeStreets security system is incredibly reliable and easy to use. The app is intuitive, and the home automation features are a game-changer. I love being able to monitor my home from anywhere. Great service all around."
"I’ve been very pleased with my alarm system. The installation was easy and the equipment is expandable and can be customized to the needs of your home. I like that I receive notifications whenever the system is armed or disarmed or if there’s a power outage and the convenience of the remote monitoring from my phone or computer. Customer service has always been very helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. They will go the extra mile to help you and try to resolve issues over the phone whenever possible to save you a service call. I didn’t think I wanted or needed a security system, but I love having the peace of mine. One of the best investments you can make. First class company, I highly recommend UGSS."
"ADT’s system is fantastic! The security features are top-of-the-line, and the home automation integration is so convenient. I love being able to control everything from my phone. The customer service team is also very helpful. 10/10!"
"Abstract was great to work with. I had one vision for the project, and they convinced me to go another way. They were the only company that actually asked me questions about what I wanted from the system, and took time to talk to me what my best options were. From the few proposals I received, they were by far the cheapest for parts and labor. But the end product is great - we've been happy with how the cameras look like and what they are able to record. Overall, very highly recommended for professionalism, care in working with the customer, and price for quality."
"I highly recommend Districtconnects! They were responsive and professional, super helpful in helping answer all my questions and getting my home security up and running. They were also honest and trustworthy which is something that is important for me when hiring for services. Thank you Districtconnects for making my home’s installation a seamless experience!"
"I had a great experience with Red and Black Security! They installed my wireless solar cameras and security system at my home, and I?m really happy with the work they did. The installer was super professional, friendly, and knew exactly what he was doing. Everything was done right, and the price was very reasonable compared to others. It?s not easy to find someone who does great work, treats you well, and offers a good price, but these guys did all three. I would definitely recommend Red and Black Security to anyone looking to protect their home. Great service from start to finish!"
"We recently moved into our new home and we had problems with the sound coming out of the speakers. All About Sound & Video came to our home. We set an appointment, they were on time, they listened to our problem worked to adjust the system to solve the problem. They were very professional and very helpful. I plan on using them again for an upgrade to my system!"
"Steven and his team were simply exceptional! From the very beginning, they were responsive, professional and clearly knowledgeable about the security system. They were proactive in scheduling, reached out to confirm the night before, and even on the morning of the service, reached out to let me know they were on their way, and would arrive on time!! The installation work they did was superb! High quality work, very clean and professional and even went above what was expected to correct other issues left by the prior security company. I simply cannot say enough good things about Steven and his team! If you want highly professional, on time and high value security work, there is no other choice. I am happy to personally speak to any prospective client about my endorsement. That’s how strongly I feel about what I’ve said here. Thank you Steven and Access Pro!!!"

"Install was easy. Up front cost was pretty low with Angie's List coupon. Monthly price is a little high compared to competing companies. Response time with alarms is excellent. I was advised to use glass break alarms within 10 ft of my first floor windows, which we installed correctly. I asked prior to installation if having one in the kitchen would cause false alarms due to dishes clanging, etc. I was told the glass break alarms are configured to a precise frequency that alarms with breaking glass. So, not a "no", but not really an answer. Well, every time we cook dinner, wash dishes or empty the dish washer, the kitchen glass break alarm gives a warning which would sound the alarm if it was set. This has caused us a number of false alarms while we've been away due to shifting bowls or plates in our drying rack. For the first several we've had to pay our police department $120 to check the house, and I was only notified after the first alarm that there was a cheaper option for a security company to drive by to check for a break in."

Ultimately, the decision should align with your objectives. For general home security, visible cameras at entry points and high-traffic areas are recommended to deter intruders. In areas where privacy is a concern, use hidden cameras sparingly and within legal limits.
A keypad deadbolt, a lock requiring a code entered on a keypad entry, can be a convenient option for families with children coming in and out and needing access to the home. It can also offer an easy solution if you rent your home out, since you can easily change the code as needed. So, depending on your home entry’s needs, a keypad deadbolt may be worth the extra expense.

In general, keyless door locks are considered safe, and their security depends on the type and quality of the lock. They cannot be picked like a traditional lock and often include added features like biometric access, PIN codes, and smartphone connectivity, which can make them more secure. However, they are not without risks. Potential vulnerabilities include hacking for Wi-Fi-connected models, battery failure, power outages, and technical malfunctions. To maximize security, it is important to choose a reliable brand, stay on top of software updates, and perform regular maintenance. While the risks are different, keyless locks are not considered more dangerous than traditional locks.
Expect to spend an average of $150 to $500 to set up a home flood detection system. However, be aware that costs are wide-ranging. You might only spend a budget-friendly $50 to place basic, battery-operated sensors in a few key areas of your home, or $150 to set up two or three smart sensors. The purchase and professional installation of a whole-home protection system with water shutoff capabilities could cost between $500 and $1,000.
