"I would like to give Mr. Sandless at least four stars, but the overall quality of the work done by the installation crew was less than I expected. There are several instances of planks not being cut eventually at thresholds. For example, at the threshold of my bathroom, the crew cut several planks short and then filled the gap about half of the length of the threshold with caulk. I found several gouges in the flooring that probably resulted from the crew moving some of the furniture in the room as they installed the flooring. There is a red misty substance, like an overspray of something, that appears on some of the planks, that was not explained. I could not remove it with a floor cleaning product. My one biggest issue is that the crew parked a rather old van on my recently sealed asphalt driveway and left a large oil spot that was apparently the result of an oil leak from the van. It discolored a portion of my driveway. To Mr Sandless’s credit, Russ, the boss and franchise owner, was easy to work with as far as providing an estimate and scheduling the job. Although I did point out the discrepancies found after the work was done, he did not apparently deem it necessary to have his crew return to correct the problems. I am disappointed in the attention to detail and workmanship of Russ’ crew and the lack of taking responsibility for leaving a puddle of out on my driveway."

"This company was a nightmare from the start. I worked with them at the suggestion of our general contractor for a kitchen remodel and it was terrible. First, they installed the wrong hardwoods in our home, which they didn't realize until after the cabinets were put in. They had to cut the wood out around the cabinets resulting in a gap where any spill or leak drips directly into the subfloor. They also didn't realize the wood was wrong until my entire family of three kids and a dog moved out for three days so they could stain. Then the staining...it took three tries to get it right. Huge spots of stain not evenly distributed, the floors looked awful. I had to fight tooth and nail for them to get it right. While the stain is beautiful now we have more than 10 quarter sized gaps in the hardwoods that look awful. Just a complete disaster."
