Solid Hardwood Floors and Finish Carpentry LLC

This company was a nightmare from the start. I worked with them at the suggestion of our general contractor for a kitchen remodel and it was terrible. First, they installed the wrong hardwoods in our home, which they didn't realize until after the cabinets were put in. They had to cut the wood out around the cabinets resulting in a gap where any spill or leak drips directly into the subfloor. They also didn't realize the wood was wrong until my entire family of three kids and a dog moved out for three days so they could stain. Then the staining...it took three tries to get it right. Huge spots of stain not evenly distributed, the floors looked awful. I had to fight tooth and nail for them to get it right. While the stain is beautiful now we have more than 10 quarter sized gaps in the hardwoods that look awful. Just a complete disaster.

After installing the wrong wood in our house and having to stain three different times because of incorrect work we still have giant gaps in our floor big enough to stick quarters into. We wasted thousands on this company and will still have to have our floors refinished when we sell.

My floors look absolutely amazing and the level of detail and care the team took to ensure the floors are immaculate is just beyond expectation. The went very well. The contractor management, Omar Rebhi, was very knowledgeable about wood products and finishing. All of the team members that came to install, sand and finish floors as well as installation of shoe moulding were extremely nice and easy to work with. I highly recommend this company to anyone who is interested in doing any kind of hardwood flooring work.

This project went better than planned. The floors needed a lot of sanding (especially in the kitchen where linoleum was adhered to the original floors. Rebhi Omar and his team REALLY care about their work product and did a fantastic job on our floors.
