"I recently had an egress window installed in my home by JDS Home Improvement. I purchased the Rockwell Egress Window. This window brings in a lot of natural light and it's just beautiful! Jordan Jones put a hanger inside the cover of the window so I could hang a plant. Jordan,Joshua Jones and all of the work crew were very professional and kind. The quality of the work is superb. I even had a custom closet made that l am very pleased with. The installation of the window was completed in a few days. The staff cleaned up well. Due to the heavy equipment used,part of my lawn was affected. JDS planted grass seed and the grass has already sprouted in just a few days. If it were not for Jordan, this project would not have been possible. It is without reservation that I highly recommend JDS Home Improvement. Friendly Painting did a fabulous job correcting my painting mistakes!  I was doing touch up paint in the condo living room with 18 feet walls in preparation for my new renters.  I ran into trouble when the old paint in the can had dried up, Sherwin Williams no longer carried the same color and there was a different formula that they were never (after numerous tries) able to match up for me.  While mixing and trying to match, I painted over the old and new paint in a few places and tried out the new shades.  I eventually arrived at the matching color, but the sheen was all wrong with the natural window lighting and the original eggshell paint looking more flat after a few years.  From the angle in the kitchen looking through the cut out to the living room, my touch up work looked awful with the lighting and stuck out like a sore thumb. I finally gave up and decided to call a professional painting company!  I found Friendly Painting on Angie's list and they answered after 5P!  Tom Seo, the owner, listened to my sob story and gave me a quote (with a 10% Angie discount) and said a team would be out the next afternoon!   He reassured me that they were excellent painters and would resolve my painting problems.  They were an hour late in arriving, but more than made up for it in their professional techniques to correct my blunders!  Yes, they tried to sand and roller over my painting, but when I pointed out how my work was still showing through, Jose quickly came up with a plan and the perfect solutions!  He got Armando and Abdias to spackle over a few places, the hair dryer came out and within a few minutes the roller paint covered everything perfectly.  They completed my job in about 2 hours (with a 20 minute break to let the first coat of paint dry before the 2nd one was applied), with Armando high on the ladder, Abdias doing the cut in work and Jose rollering.  The final result is that my living room walls look gorgeous!

I will use this company again and certainly hope I get this same team of Jose, Armando and Abdias!  They worked well as a team, were very knowledgeable about their work and were a joy to have in my home.

We were initially a bit surprised by the price quote, but we wanted to go with a high-quality window and window well.  Also, the quality of the work performed by Travis Graham and his crew member was outstanding. In cold, wet December weather they excavated 6 feet down to the foundation footer and cut through the foundation to install our vinyl egress window and MarFlex window well.  Travis Graham always came to our house with a smile and a good attitude.  Right after we signed the contract, Travis went to his normal vendor and discovered that they no longer kept the window well we wanted in stock.  He found out that the window well had to be ordered and  the price would be higher than what was originally quoted. Instead of raising our price, Travis honored the contract by absorbing the extra cost.  Graham Restoration also went the extra mile and not only filled in the hole they dug, but also grated and seeded the dirt.

As an aside, we found out that Graham Restoration hangs Christmas lights for a small fee.  We had them outline the front of our house with lights we had bought, and they also took them down for us.  I think we had one of the best looking houses on the block.

Honest contractors that perform quality work are hard to find.  I highly recommend using Graham Restoration for your next project.

"These guys redid the master bathroom, our basement bathroom, and renovated the h*** out of my townhouse so I could sell it. They put in all new carpeting and tile in the kitchen, new counters, new lighting, and painted everything. They also fixed a plumbing problem found in the pre-sale home inspection.
I can't say enough good about these guys! The only problem I had is sometimes they weren't quite as punctual as I had hoped they would be, but also they stayed late to finish some jobs correctly. I plan to use them again when I renovate my condo.
Also, I hired them to come with me during the inspections of properties I was thinking of buying. They saved me from buying a property with a collapsing and improperly supported floor. Recommend them for this type of work, too!

"8/17/2015 - Mr. Burga responded to my negative review on Angie's List with an explanation that he has been out of commission for the last few days due to a back injury.  Because I truly believe he was incredibly responsive (within 2 days) to my original inquiry, I advised him that I will amend my original review to give him the benefit of the doubt.  He offered to come by to give me an estimate, however we already have 3 or 4 estimates, and we will make a selection in the next week or so.   (I would simply withdraw my review so it won't negatively impact Mr. Burga's excellent rating on Angie's List, but I guess that's not allowed.)"
