They did not try to sell me anything, and solely wanted me to understand how I could improve the water flow around my home. I am a gardener and they suggested a rain garden with the rerouting of my water, which was wonderful! They pointed out the damage, which was noticeable. The first structural engineering firm I had was all about sales, never pointed out the water issue, and said the cracks in the interior walls needed to be fixed immediately, and I could call JES. Obsidian was all about making sure my home stands in a healthy way for many years to come! They said the cracks in my walls were repaired prior to me moving in and had just reopened -- no big deal but normal settling (1963 home). They are honest and ethical and I would call them again in a heartbeat!"
