"If I could give zero stars I would! We had the most HORRIBLE experience with Christan/Nighthawk!!! We had a 3 phase home addition that was to be done in 6 months. It took 11 months and he only made it thru phase 2. He took our money then proceeded to only show up once a week for most of the project!! He left our roof off - exposing our home to extensive damage that he ignored - for 3 MONTHS!!!! He claimed we were a priority project to him and yet never showed up. And to add insult to injury the work he did was AWFUL! Framing was left exposed to the elements so long it grew mold (that we had to treat on our own dime) and the inside framing was so wrong that we had to rip it down and fix on our own. Beware of a sheep in wolfs clothing. Christian talks a good game and you'll believe he is a good guy/business man but he did us sooooo wrong!!! All I can say is do not make the same mistake we did - go with someone else!!!!"

"Jason and Matt at Smithbuilt are exceptional contractors. They are professional, courteous and prompt. They brough a friendly engaging spirit to my project. Jason was incredible with the design and offered tons of knowledge and experience. He was open to suggestions and clearly wanted me to get my needs met with the design. They brough exceptional subcontractors to the project and were open to working with subcontractors that I already wanted to use to save myself money. They were always responsive to requests and prompt with answers. I couldn't be more pleased with who my project turned out. I HIGHLY recommend them."

"Time management was poor at best. Crews running too many jobs at the same time. My bathroom remodel took over 8 months to finish after a 90 day projection. ATTENTION TO DETAIL WAS VERY VERY BAD!!! Flooring was not laid smoothly (tile). Multiple holes cut in new sheet rock to hang light fixtures.. Apparently Troy can't use a tape measure properly. He was the supervisor that got fired. 1 of the workers was smoking weed in my house (we don't smoke anything inside). Neil the owner cannot be trusted to tell you the truth. Very dishonest people, company. BUYER BEWARE!!!!"

"We purchased a quartz countertop + install on 5/4/24. The install was to take place on 5/17. Measurements were taken of our existing counter and we picked out the quartz that we wanted. A few days before the install, an office worker called to ask if would be ok to shorten the overhang on our peninsula by 1/2 inch to make everything flow better. We said that would be fine. The original overhang was 2 inches, so, we assumed that we would have 1 1/2 inch overhang. On the 17th of May, the installed came and the trouble started. Issue #1: our overhang was only 1 inch (should be 1.5 inches) which is NOT what we wanted. Issue #2: the seam that was placed intersected the pattern on the quartz, leaving a VERY mismatched pattern. Issue #3: the overhang on the section near our oven was actually almost 2 inches!!! A 2 inch overhang near the oven and a 1 inch on the peninsula looked AWFUL!. Issue#4 : they install the peice near the oven crooked with a huge gap on the cabinets."
