The business model, however, requires that the owner/client provide detailed written instructions and photographs, because they charge just to come and provide an estimate.  If you don't have a very good idea of what you want done - and provide detailed instructions and photographs, this could be a very costly business to engage.  In addition, after emailing instructions, diagrams and photographs, there was no acknowledgment that all had been received, reviewed and understood.  Therefore, it was a shot in the dark, literally, until the day before when a call was made indicating that the instructions, diagrams and photographs had been received.
Although this business does very good work, it is not the most economical way to do business because you must pay to receive an estimate - and if not willing to pay the cost for a home visit to receive an estimate, it is a shot in the dark about what the work will cost.
