Small business, less than 10 employees, owned by same individual for 40 years serving Williamsburg and surrounding areas. Payment for services, other than emergency water/sewage damage are expected at time of service.

"The carpet was thoroughly cleaned and all dirt/stains were removed. However, it took two months to clean the carpet and far more of my time than I had wanted to spend checking on it and trying to pick it up. After three weeks I called to inquire and was told that they had "started" cleaning but hadn't finished. No problem. A couple or three weeks later when I called (no calls from them in the meantime), I was told they couldn't find it but would search and get back to me. The following day they called to say they found it, shortly before they took several days off for the Christmas holiday (no objections). I then had to go to their shop three separate times during published open hours after the New Year before I found someone there. This service is far more trouble to deal with than the value they provide."

"Initially, Steve, the owner of Eastern Floor Covering, provided an in-home detail costs estimate for the entire installation process, item-by-item, with a cost associated with each item. He also included some suggestions of padding products that he found worked best, through his many years of flooring, like (tucking the carpet under each step a little more cost for installation , and a little pricier step padding . His suggestion turned out to be right on target. The final end product was super spectacular. Waking on the steps feel like walking on a cloud. Much better than I anticipated. Both sets of stairs never looked that good. Regarding the installation process: It went like everyone hopes it would go, but never does. A date and time was chosen from a group of available days and times; The lady in the store phoned the day before to remind me of the installation date and time window, the process was started within the time window that I selected, The installers were polite and friendly and understood that I needed to get to my upstairs office during the day. The cleanup process was above par. The removal of the old carpet was quick and the broom was used several times during installation. What a well organized carpeting replacement system! My hat is off to you Steve and your crew."

"Adams Flooring did a fantastic job installing white oak flooring in my bedroom. Willing to service Kilmarnock and the team was on site every day at 8 am. The owner, Doug, was present and working most every day. Did everything right to assure a quality outcome - wood was delivered a week in advance to acclimate and at the completion of the project, the gloss didn’t quite match the rest of the home flooring. Full disclosure,I had requested the incorrect sheen, but Doug just added another coat and made things right. I enthusiastically recommend Adam’s Wood Flooring."

The project included stairs as well. A very large open area. The finished project looks amazing. If you didn’t know the new wood wasn’t part of wood that existed prior, you’d never know. The new stain color is great and even. The stairs required a lot of work and it’s incredible. A week prior laminate planks were installed in a bath, laundry and mud/utility room. Just great. Everyone who worked on this project was very friendly, hard working and careful with their work, The owner is top-notch. He is meticulous and is very careful to be sure all work was completed to his high standard and if even a small detail is off—he makes sure it is corrected. He is one of those people when you meet him, your gut tells you he is trust-worthy. Very true. His pricing is very fair. (A different company quoted us nearly double . My gut had already told me not to trust the other company) We are very pleased with the quality of work, the professionalism of the company as a whole and pricing. Should receive more than 5 stars!"
