"The project started out with an expected completion date of 2 weeks. The workers initially showed up erratically then gradually tapered off. Additional damage was found that was apparently there long before we bought the house in 2016 but we were told any further work would need be stopped until we were able to finance an additional $10,000 + leaving other areas of the floor and insulation unfinished. We were also expected to pay costs outside of the terms of the original contract or threatened with a lien on our home. We asked the contractor come back and complete the flooring up to the area the area of additional repairs with the agreement to prepay to make it safer for our toddler while we were in the process of refinancing our house to be able to pay for the additional repairs. Mr. Hammond has only contacted us through email taking up to several days for a response and refused to return any of our calls or text messages then mostly recently advised us that he had larger more time consuming jobs to complete and didn't know when he could get back to our job and suggested we hire another contractor."

We have been serving Fredericksburg and surrounding counties for 40 years. We stand behind all our work. Because we are a small company with less overhead than large and franchised plumbing companies, our prices are very competitive. We expect payment upon completion of work unless prior arrangements have been made. We accept both checks and cash, but not credit cards.

Company don’t have 2 production lines for “home owner quality” and “plumber quality” and them label them exactly the same.) Replaced a bathroom faucet (Kingston Brass Columbia 1.2 GPM Centerset Bathroom Faucet charged me $110 for a $38 faucet) 2x steel braided cables ($20 a piece they are $7 a piece) A quart of draino $14 The total for parts was $413 then he said “you have to add 1.9% on top of that for my “cost” whatever that means. His math came to $746 TOTAL FOR PARTS ALONE. Figure that math out for me ? He arrived at 8:15am and started working at 8:45 and finished at 11:15 and charged me 4 hours at $75 an hour for a total of $300. The total bill was $1046!! For a disposal, and a faucet. DO NOT HIRE THIS “COMPANY” They will absolutely take advantage of you, and then call you “money grubbers” when you pull a calculator out. You are better off hiring a reputable plumbing company in the area. If you’re trying to save money, do NOT look to KELLEM’S PLUMBING! If you see their Craigslist ad, RUN!"
