"This figures coming from you, "MR BAD CHECK GUY." You did worse actually, you stopped payment on your check right after my tech left your house and didnt even warn us so it would deliberately cause a problem at my bank which it did.. And even after that, I remained positive, continued to engage you. negotiated with you with 37 messages back and forth , then when my mother died you felt embarrassed for being so selfish and greedy, you finally sent another check. So I went the extra mile, I came out for free..on your picky schedule to take a second look. You also cancelled on me when I was heading there that one night. Just a mess to deal with you. Youre first service was the $189 Cleaning and Basic repair fee. Thats not for TWO VISITS to help with your intermittent problem. As it shouldnt be. I know you wouldnt go somewhere to work for free but you expected us to. You owe me $199 for coming back for that second time. Please send me a money order, I dont trust your checkbook. As for YOUR PROBLEM of an intermittent fireplace issue...which we came to CLEAN and help diagnose, ...Your fireplace never shut off while both my technician and me on separate visits spent an hour each in front of it. . Im glad 99.9% of people are honest. I trust people and I will continue to keep my head up high and have a positive outlook while being invited to customers homes. Youre not going to ruin my spirit. Youre the one with the problem. Unsuspecting service people need to beware of you and your bad checkbook problem."
"Dear Angies List great customers.. I want to be fair to anyone who is dissatisfied with our service. I will reach out to people to try to see what is wrong and see if I can make it better which is exactly what I did for her and she called it harassment. At first, I believed her and was very upset with my technician until I found out the treatment he received from this person. She abused my technician on the phone verbally before he arrived. Yelled.."Ive been waiting all day!!" Which is not true because he had told her she would not hear from him until after 3:30 p.m. That set the stage for the tension. Please read her review above ..how she's insulting him about saying hes "Confused and woken up from a nap"?? What is she talking about? The man works 14 hour days. He could have been tired. We are all tired, yes we work much longer hours than avg people. He may have been doing exactly what he is told and calling customers. He may have been tired. She was after him,... and now shes after me too.. shes put this same review on Yelp. Why be so determined to attack people's busineses? He tried to satisfy her, which is commendable for him to be still willing, the way he was treated..to still try, so he showed up to do the job anyway and she verbally abused him in her "condo".. Her own stated words make no sense... think about her statement..." She's mad hes not there yet but when he DOES show up, shes mad he showed up. " Somethings wrong. Its obvious. She belittled him, said she didn't want to pay the $199 that she agreed to pay to get us out there.. He found a gas leak in her wall that needed a gas plumber and she started blaming him and his leak detector. She should be thanking him! Her house had a major gas leak and the gas company rushed out and shut off her gas, thank goodness!! I spent 20 mins on the phone apologizing for no fault of ours and offering to come back for free to double check his findings and she insisted that I give her a free $120 remote that she tried to say she thinks that's included in the service fee cost.. How would I give a free remote? I told her "No, sorry, no free remotes, not free.." and she got real mean and disrespectful and hung up. Just the same way she treated my technician she gave the same treatment to me. Thats when I knew my tech was telling the truth. I cant reason with this person. Its impossible. She just threatens to put bad reviews and "Call the cops.". Yup said that too. She is absolutely out to wreck my business and my good reputation. She went on Yelp and did the same thing to me ..she's harassing me. I wish there was a way for small businesses to protect themselves, but there just isnt any database to warn businesses about certain customers who are out to ruin businesses. Im shocked at what some people do. Just shocked. Just makes me want to rethink what Im doing..Is this healthy for me to get this abuse?..as a result of hard work and trying to please everyone? Is this my reward?. For such a small amount of money? Im so glad most people arent like her. My customers know the good service I provide and the great respect which I show them. All of my "A" reviews and continuous Super Service awards didn't come by accident, they are from very hard work and great interactions with people.. See above.her diatribe. She spent alot of time writing her angry thoughts. I hope she finds peace. I wish there was some review about her I could have seen before allowing my service to be drawn into this. "Dear Angie's List customers, None of this is true. This is a tenant in a house that the landlady had called me to do the service. No service ever got to be performed because she, tenant cancelled on me at the last minute on an evening appointment that I could have scheduled someone else, but because she last minute cancelled I lost $200 that night. I should have just scratched it off the list and refused to ever go back but instead I tried to give her a second chance because I had a nice interaction with the owner of the property through Angie's List and I wanted to help. So I called the tenant on Saturday around noon explaining that I have a lot of phone calls to make and a lot of things to do and I probably won't be out of my house until at least 2:00pm 2:30 p.m. or later. I NEVER give an exact time of arrival . Not in seven years of owning this business have I ever given an exact time of arrival because this is service work and it is impossible to predict. So when I was on my way and in a happy mood, I called her around 2:45 or 3 p.m. to say I'm going to be there in 15 minutes, and thats when I was faced with abuse by this tenant because according to her I wasn't there at "Exactly at 2 p.m. as promised." That created an argument between us because she was insulting me about my business..Saying "You told me you would be here exactly at 2 p.m. . I said "No I did not!" I tried to cool her down.. I tried to explain to her all the things that go into running a business that I can't just be exactly on time for every house when I'm running service calls. There was no mention of any IRS. Why would I bring up the IRS??I have no problems with the IRS . I owe $0 to the IRS. I told her that I am trying to get to as many customers as possible, I'm under a lot of stress to get to so many places to help so many people at once and there's a lot more to running a business than just showing up at your house. I tried to tell her I have advertising, parts orders, customers phone calls to answer and to return, emails, texts, paying taxes, finding people to train and interview for work and she obviously didn't care, or understand any of that. No service was ever performed. This was not the person who called me for the service.... this review should not even be allowed to be here."
"WOW!!! I have questioned thoroughly my technician about this allegation . I would never condone such behavior nor would it ever be permitted to occur. My technician denied ever flirting with you, maam. He told me you were showing your tattoos by lifting your pants legs up and that you hugged him when he had his hands full with his tool bag and work tickets. Could it be that you were getting too comfortable with a stranger in your house? I dont know... I've just never heard of such a thing ever happening before and my technician has worked for Comcast for 20 years before working for me and has never had one single incident such as this in a customer's house. And IF this actually had occurred, you would certainly have called the owner of the company immediately to tell them some inappropriate behavior had happened, RIGHT? But you never called me or even emailed me. You just posted this" Hit Job" on my reviews. Honestly , your review reads like fantasy, unrequited love in a Fabio romance novel. It just does.. I'm not buying it. If you have more to say I would listen. By the way, we are a gas fireplace service. Not a dating / hookup/ rendezvous site. William Yeager"
