"Went well! Within minutes after my submission to Angi, I received a phone call, and query, and a team was dispatched to my location. They (Jimmy, Justin, and Jaime) arrived within the hour, and even though the vent was roughly 30 feet up (I had called other vent cleaners and they don't provide services over 20 feet) they assessed my dryer vent issue(s) and determined I needed a nest removal. We looked at preventative measures I had, and they provided to keep the birds out. I eventually went with their solution and purchased it at a separate cost. The experience was roughly an hour. "I came home from work to find our 40-gallon water heater was not working (it was working that morning). The pilot was out and I could not get it re-lit (I do know how to light a pilot) After checking a number of companies on Angie's List, I contacted DB's Plumbing and Drain. Although it was almost 6pm, a very nice person answered the phone and I explained my dilemma. I was told they could send someone that night but would have to charge an after-hours rate. I was reasonably certain what was wrong would not be a simple fix like re-lighting a pilot so scheduled a visit for the following morning between 10 am and 12 noon. Michael D arrived shortly after 10 am. He was very courteous, polite and professional. Before entering my home, he donned a pair of shoe covers which was kept on as long as he was in the house. He diagnosed the problem as being a failed main burner system. As the water heater was 14-years-old, I weighed the cost of replacing just the main burner system on such an old unit against replacing the unit itself. I opted for the water heater replacement. Michael setup the old unit to drain while he went to retrieve the new one from their warehouse which took him about 45 minutes. Upon his return, he removed the old unit and cleaned up the area. He then cut back the existing copper lines to eliminate the numerous soldered couplings from the previous homeowner's repairs. He installed new copper pipes including a new quarter turn shut-off valve. A catch pan was placed and the water heater setup in it. Up reconnecting the gas line, he installed a sediment trap or drip leg (it did not have one previously) which catches sediment sometimes present in natural gas. After bringing the system online, Michael checked the gas line connections for leaks using a detection monitor. The installation was clean and neat and it is obvious Michael is conscientious about his work. Always interested in how things in my home work, Michael was very gracious in answering my questions regarding the installation. I am very happy with the install.and would like to thank Michael for his professionalism and the education."

"Without a doubt, I will call this company for any future needs. Last year, I had regular maintenance done on my furnace and they scared the crap out of me when they told me I needed a bunch of work done and repairs on my gas furnace. I held off and crossed my fingers all last winter and decided this year was finally time to face it... so began the phone calls.. then I got a return call from Parrish services. Alan, the owner, came to my house at 7 p.m. on a Friday to do a check on my gas furnace. This was after one company told me it would be a $6800 replacement job, and another told me $69 bucks just for them to come look at it and even then they would only tell me they'd call me Monday morning to confirm and then call me at some point Monday to let me know then they were within 30 minutes of being here, but couldn't give me any idea of what time that would be. Ugh. Add to the mix that I'm a single mom and I used to just pick up the phone and call my dad for advice on EVERYTHING.... he passed away a little over a year ago and this was the first major home issue that I had where I couldn't get my dad's advice... let the meltdowns begin... "I previously used this company to install a gas fireplace log system and had an outstanding experience. So I am surprised about my experience thus far as it seems out of character. About 3 weeks ago I called and set up an appointment for a gas fireplace servicing. I was given a date and a 2 hour window. We waited and nobody ever showed. I since have called twice and got voicemail. I have not received a return phone call. My experience was so positive the first time I'd welcome to use them again, and am sending up this review in the hopes it can spur contact."
