"I will never never never hire Kevin Beard or his crew again. He never did a good job at all. I had him give me a quote on June 19 and as of Oct 1 the tree and a mess was still in my yard. He never called or text me saying he wouldn't not be at my house on the days he was schedule be there. He had all kind of excuses for not coming. I had to call him. Then when I got a hold of him the last time see when he was gonna finish the job by removing the tree and the mess out of my yard his answer was he needed more money cause its causing him money to haul it off. Well I paid him to cut down one tree and 4 stumps and to haul away the tree and clean up the mess. So I told him I wasnt given him anymore money. SO I WILL NEVER HIRE HIM AND HIS CREW AGAIN HES NOT DEPENDABLE AND HES WILL NOT FINISH THE JOB UNTIL YOU PAID HIM MORE MONEY Which I wasnt gonna do that. I told him dont come back to my house so we cleaned up the mess ourselves. I paid him in the price to haul it away and clean up too"

A trencher can grind stumps, but it will take a lot longer and be less effective than dedicated stump grinding tools. Rather than using a trencher to grind stumps, since trenchers work best at digging in soil, use a stump grinder. You can expect Epsom salt and vinegar to take between 6 to 12 months to kill and dry out a tree. That may sound like a long time, but it’s much faster than it takes most tree stumps to die. If your time frame is more limited than that, you may want to call in the stump removal pros to remove the trunk or grind it down, although this may cause more ground damage.

The most common alternative is burning the stump first, then dealing with the cinders and ashes. It usually takes months for a stump to start falling apart with such treatments, and in the meantime, it can be vulnerable to rot, insects, and other problems.

Unless it’s dead or dangerous, think twice about cutting down a tree in your yard. They’re good for health, well-being, wildlife, and the environment. Plus, local authorities often have regulations prohibiting the removal of trees, especially protected species or individual trees with historical value.

DIY is risky and not recommended for large trees; professional services ensure safe removal and proper disposal.
