"Their representative came out immediately; however, it took constant calls from me to get any information from their staff. The Rep told me I would hear from them, and when I did not I called several times over a four day period. I finally emailed them, and they responded with a phone call that my parts were ordered. This was a total fabrication as I was getting a plain, normal gutter (one) and rather small at that. I had to hound their office and my Rep to get an answer, and they finally showed up yesterday, 9/15, with the gutter. It was installed and perfect. Far from a quick response; far from good customer service - they live in a different world. They don't seem to understand that when the Rep promises follow up, they actually have to contact the customer."

"Work was done on existing drywall that was damaged and needed patching and replacement. There was also a damaged window sill. Workers came on several different days. Some were prompt and courteous while others were not timely. The quality of work done was very good and still looks nice 6 months later. The billing process was easy but one worker overbilled for time not worked. Owner resolved that problem quickly and to our satisfaction.

Gutter Repair and Replacement questions, answered by experts

It’s technically possible to remove some soffit material without removing your gutters, but it’s usually a good idea to remove gutters, fascia, and soffit and then reinstall them in the opposite order. Replacing soffits without removing gutters is likely to leave you with a less professional and clean appearance, and you’re more likely to do damage to your gutters and fascia boards in the process.

You may have a clogged gutter. Downspouts can also clog if your gutter collects too much debris. Hire a professional gutter cleaner, and if you still have problems, install a gutter guard (which prevents debris from entering your gutter system) and a downspout extension (which helps drain water further away from your foundation, so it doesn't pool near your house). Follow these tips to keep your gutter downspouts clean.

The cost to repair copper gutters typically ranges from $200 to $1,500. The final price is determined by the severity of the damage, current material costs, labor rates, and whether any additional reinforcements are needed for the repair.

Water should not be dripping behind your gutters. Rain dripping between your gutters and the fascia might indicate that the gutters are misaligned with the fascia board or there are loose screws in the gutters, allowing water to pass through. Start by checking for these issues and make repairs ASAP.

Once you’ve installed your gutters, you'll need to maintain them. You should clean your gutters once or twice a year to keep them functioning correctly. But if climbing a ladder and scooping out handfuls of wet leaf gunk is just not your thing, you can hire a professional gutter cleaner near you to do the job.
