"Received a call from Parrish Services. We spoke for almost 30 minutes on the phone plus using a video app I was able to stream to him my home heating system. Based on my situation and the current installed oil heating system I would be wasting money trying to change to a new electric system. He indicated the system installed was a top of the line efficient system. After the conversation I let him know I appreciated his honesty and input. That input included having to upgrade electrical panel etc.. Bottom line.. Found Parrish to be honest, bottom line answers yet willing to work with you on what you want done. UPDATE - They have reached out to me and are coming to my home on 1/8/15. I will update again after I meet with them.

UPDATE - 2/4/2015 - They did come to my home and provided an estimate and plan for lighting our back yard and deck. 6 lights were included in our original purchased deal. Their proposal was for the original 6 lights plus another $1500 worth of lighting. I like their plan but we weren't prepared to spend the additional money at this time. They came out yesterday and installed just the initial 6 lights. They arrived on time and the work they did is wonderful. Our deck is beautifully lit now and I am very happy. While this relationship got off to a rocky start, they made it right and we will hire them again when we're ready to finish the back yard lighting. Also - the deal was supposed to be for the front of the house - but that wasn't clear when I bought the deal - so they allowed us to use our 6 lights on the deck. I'm sure they want the front so that they can show off their work - and that makes sense to me - as their work is worth showing off. I would now highly recommend this company."

"He was not able to fix the light fixture, but he took it down so that I could take it to a lamp shop.  He changed the outlet, which didn't need to be fixed necessarily and placed the boxes in upside dow.  The dimming controls works opposite. When the light increases, the dim switch slides down instead of up. Simple things, that could have been done the correct way.

( I think he could build anything) He came out, looked over the site and putting our ideas together he and his crew began work in a matter of days. All the men conducted themselves in a professional manner, and I have to add that the temperature was nearing 100 degrees. "We were generally pleased with the work that was done with the attic fan installation. The job was big and messy. Because of my plaster ceiling the edges around the fan need to be repaired. I was not told about this and because of my lack of knowledge I was not aware that I would be left to repair the ceiling. Other than that they did a great job. I am looking to bring them back to install ceiling fans in the bedrooms."
