I requested a list of basement repair professional on Home Advisor and LUX Foundation Repair was the first of three to respond to the request. I scheduled an appointment for LUX to give me a quote on what it would take to resolve my basement flooding. Keagan arrived at the scheduled time and I described the flooding issue. It would require replacing the basement stairwell drain, sump pump and connecting pipe. We also discussed putting french drain and a larger pad at the top of the stairs to close a gap between the foundation and stairs that allowed water to channel into the stairwell. Keagan was upfront about how and when the job would be scheduled. I was contacted when the job was initially scheduled and kept informed on any changes as the start date. Adam and Ace arrived the date specified and went right to work. They were professional, knowledgeable and answered all questions I had. They were a pleasure to work with. "Best Buy's Regional Manager(Dan Mayo) came out in a timely manner to give us a quote to not only waterproof our basement but he also inspected our crawl space that unbeknownst to us had leakage also and had built up mould. His quote was most reasonable in comparison to other companies and he adjusted his work schedule to accommodate our travel schedule. We were leaving in two days and he had his crew come the day before we left and they completed the work that day. The crew itself was impressive in their work ethic as they labored almost non-stop from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. What a relief it was for us to have this work completed before we left for two weeks.. Dan's follow up was extraordinary as he showed a willingness to fix anything that may have been overlooked."

"French drain was installed with drain boxes, berm installed near property line, sump pump installed into new drain, top soil added in disturbed areas, grass seed/straw over same. Company told me they'd be back to be sure grass was growing plus I needed more top soil and a cap is missing from sump pump line, but had no repeat visit -- this is my only complaint. The drain held up during/after recent big storm. Berm is deteriorating due to storm and more grass seed was needed before storm. Otherwise, I am very pleased. Company owner and workers were very pleasant. He explained process as work progressed. They're a little expensive, but it was a job well done."
