"They did a good job of monitoring the cages. After a few days with the second cage empty, the technician removed the empty cage and closed up the hole. All of the workers were very polite and pleasant to interact with."

"Went well. Took 2 treatments to eliminate hornets. Second hole was tough to get to, but Art did a good job eradicating the insects. Price seemed a bit high to me ($125), but perhaps that is reasonable for pest control."

To keep wasps away from your home, you can consult with an exterminator about preventative measures and potential follow-up visits. For a non-lethal approach, consider installing a fake wasp nest, as this can deter wasps from building their own nearby. You can also use natural repellents. Wasps dislike the smell of substances like coffee grounds, cinnamon, and vinegar. Additionally, planting certain plants in your garden or in pots near doors can help repel them; these include eucalyptus, peppermint, lemongrass, and basil.

Flea eggs can’t take heat, so use that information to your advantage. Take any affected clothes and linens and wash them on a hot setting (140℉ or higher) to kill them off. You can also rid carpets and furniture using heat. After vacuuming all surfaces thoroughly, use a steam mop or cleaner to get rid of the remaining flea eggs and residue. 

Flea eggs also can’t handle extreme cold. You could seal affected linens and store them in a freezer.
