"The unit had a pinhole leak and was about a pound off of Freon. Stop leak was put in and added Freon. Butch was the field service rep and he was professional with what you could tell was inherent knowledge of the HVAC system. He looked at all components and even helped me tape up some ducting that was leaking A/C to the attic. What more can you say for a company who comes out quickly and leaves with all your concerns answered and then some! Great company and better people."

"They did a good job of monitoring the cages. After a few days with the second cage empty, the technician removed the empty cage and closed up the hole. All of the workers were very polite and pleasant to interact with."

"I loved the customer service, they were quick to respond; and made several attempts to eliminate the pest without hurting them. Trapping Chipmunks proved to be more challenging then expected, however I did not wish to kill them, so needless to say I still have chipmunks living in my yard."

Pest Control questions, answered by experts

Spiders are not typically attracted to bedding as a primary source of food or shelter, but they sometimes inadvertently end up there. Spiders can hitch a ride on your clothing, belongings, or through open windows and doors. The underside of a bed, especially if it's near a wall or corner, can provide such a sheltered spot where they can hide and build webs. Dust and clutter under your bed can create ideal hiding places as well. If your room has other insects like flies or mosquitoes, spiders may be drawn to the area in search of prey.

The average lifespan of a stink bug is about six to eight months, depending on species and environmental conditions. Their life cycle includes three stages: Egg, nymph, and adult. Eggs hatch in roughly five days to two weeks, followed by a four to six-week nymph stage where they grow and molt. Once fully matured, adult stink bugs focus on reproduction and can fly to new areas, often seeking refuge in homes in search of warmth.

Wasp removal is challenging for pros and novices and carries the risk of painful stings. Therefore, it’s not surprising that wasp removal is not free. You can save money by going the DIY route, but paying a professional exterminator increases the chance of effective removal—and keeps you from painful wasp stings.

Skunks spray as a defense mechanism to ward off predators. The active ingredient in their sulfurous, oily musk is n-butyl mercaptan, which evaporates into a powerful and smelly gas. Once the spray hits the skunk’s target, the stench can linger for days, and water and common cleaning kits aren’t enough to wash it away.

If you happen upon a skunk in your yard, try to back away slowly to reduce the chance of them aiming at you. Encouragingly, they don’t use their weapon casually, as it can take up to 10 days for their life-saving weaponry to refill. Paw stamping, hissing, lifting their tail, and arching their back are early signs they feel trapped or under threat and that it’s time to make a careful retreat.

Attempting to kill a black widow spider can pose a significant health risk. When these arachnids feel threatened, they are more likely to attack, increasing your chances of getting bit. It's better to trap the spider and release it from a location far away from your residence.
