"I own an 90-year old historic colonial high school turned into a bed & breakfast. The windows were neglected over the past 20-30 years and in serious demand of work. Modern day window contractors were not going to understand this job. It's very difficult to find a contractor that will come through on a promise and has the skill to do as they boast. The day that Grady stepped into my 90 year-old home that needed historic window restoration, he became a part of the house. He knew exactly what had to be done. More importantly, he understood my expectations. These windows needed special attention. There was a level of detail required that not any expert would be able to handle. Grady took the time to learn their needs and stayed on the job until it was to my satisfaction. He even reworked an entire window just because I didn't like the way that it looked. Grady truly showed expertise with his ability to work on such a delicate job and even taught me a few things about historic window repair. He replaced broken antique glass with one just as aged and just as historic. If a window had to be completely rebuilt beyond his solid estimate, he did it without any complications to my budget. My windows are not only restored, but they are literally brought back from the past. Any enthusiast will appreciate the lint-seed oil, putty, and antique glass that was all restored to perfection. "The windows were manufactured earlier than we expected and we were promptly contacted about installation. Although we were told the installation was scheduled for two days, the four man crew that arrived was able to finish in a single day! Each window was installed with the same consistency in quality and efficiency. Furthermore, the crew did an excellent job protecting our floors and furnishings in every room. When it comes to evaluating the installation crew, we couldn't be happier. Regarding price, we probably paid more than we should, but that's on us. We advise getting several other quotes first and then get Castle's quote. This will definitely help in your negotiating. The windows have definitely helped to eliminate draftiness in our home and helped to maintain a consistent temperature."

They fixed an armoire door (antique French, so no hinges) when no one else was able to do so, and restored its veneer and cleaned the glass on the doors which had 200 years of mineral deposits. Next, they reupholstered a barrel chair, doing a beautiful job; it looks better than when I first bought it. Wilson has over 40 years of restoration experience with the Catholic Church in Italy and Ecuador, and it shows. He is also very personable and diligent when informing his customers of their job status. I highly recommend d them."

"Castle called to set up measurements for window manufacture. Their rep showed up on time and was a relatively quick procedure to measure. They called again once windows were ready to install, to set up installation date. Superb job performed by the removal/install team. They called the day before their arrival and then again the morning of arrival. Went straight to work and were productive from start to finish. I had two sets of double windows replaced with double slider windows and you cannot tell the new windows frames are different from what was originally installed. Thoroughly cleaned the work area, to my satisfaction, when they were done. The only problem was they provided only half screens instead of full screens for the double sliders, however they rectified this when informed."
