He performed a thorough inspection on what was causing the water to sit in the crawlspace and went over what would be required to keep the moisture and water from affecting the structural integrity of the house. While we did not end up purchasing the home, we greatly appreciated his willingness to come down and do an inspection and give us an estimate. They were recommended by my stepdad who had them do a crawlspace encapsulation on his house. He said they perform first class workmanship and were professional. "CSI was flexible and was able to schedule a home inspector the day after I got a bid accepted on a house. The inspector, Patrick, showed up on time and the inspection took about 4 hours. Patrick was responsive to any questions I had by email or live during the inspection. My one recommendation is that I requested a pest, mold, radon, and home inspection. It would be a better heads up if they explained that they sometimes outsource the radon inspection depending on availability of radon inspectors. Also, they can explain a bit more for new home buyers what is involved with a mold inspection. Patrick ended up just eyeing whether he spotted any mold. Because he did not see any mold, we did not have to pay extra for mold samples."

"I have my dream kitchen, thanks to Mr. Fix It/Bath Masters. We had an atypical plan, using Ikea cabinets according to a plan we designed. Although this was Mr. Fix Its first Ikea installation, they were great sports and were meticulous in getting it right. We put together the cabinets to save money and time, but they installed them. I work from home, so I was nervous to see how a remodel was going to work while I was on conference calls and emails the entire day, but they were nothing but professional and surprisingly not that noisy. They cleaned up at the end of every day, with the exception of their drywaller, which they warned me about as being messy. Once the finish product was ready to enjoy, I've loved it every day since!
We encountered some challenges, as you will with any down-to-the-studs remodel for the bath and kitchen, but they did a great job at addressing what needed to happen. For example, we have an old house, and when the tile was installed in the shower, I wasn't pleased with some of the workmanship - some of it was caused by uneven walls and some that was because the tile people messed up in the details. With the part that he could control, Darrell made sure to get it fixed and very quickly.
The one complaint I have with Darrell was the lack of notice and communication on when he needed the payment installments. I suggest you ask for 3 days notice before a request for payment.

"The technician did an excellent job. It did take a while to get the repair finished, but that was due to Bertazzoni delivering the parts. I have had multiple problems with this particular appliance. My range now works better than it did when new, but I have a feeling that even if I have continuing problems with it, American Home Shield will just repair rather than replace due to the cost of the range. By the way, I'm not exactly sure of the date of the repair."
