"Went very smoothly. I delayed install until weather left ground soft enough for digging. Line had to be run underground. Once I contacted Walls to do the work the quickly scheduled the job. Workmen arrived at stated time. Wasted no time doing the work, cleaned up yard and reinstalled sod so grass would grow over trench. I was mildly surprised at the overall cost of $500 which I thought was on the very high end of estimate. Original evaluator had indicated job would run around $250 if not problems were encountered and $650 if there were problems. Since there were no problems I had expected this job to run around $300 total. So I'm very glad I had a deal for $200. Even so I paid $399 counting the cost of the deal.  I had also previously paid Walls to locate the problem with the lamp post so they did not have to do that as part of this job."

"One oven doesn't work at all ( my choice, see above), the "working" oven was never calibrated properly so using it is hit or miss. It's time to call American Home Shield to see about replacing the entire unit. I'm waiting to finish other home projects before calling them. I don't know if I'll request Greenway again."

Install Above Ground Pools questions, answered by experts

If a pool turns green after adding salt, there’s a good chance the salt is the problem. Certain brands of salt have high levels of iron that cause pool water to take on a green hue. Test your pool water to determine if this is the issue. The green color will usually filter out. Brush the sides of the pool to knock the iron off.

This is just one reason a pool can turn green that is specific to adding salt. Many other reasons a pool can turn green include algae growth, low chlorine levels, a faulty filter, etc.

Yes, pools provide a safe, covered, and cool environment for frogs to lay eggs. Frogs also require calm water to lay their eggs, so having a constant flow of water from a pool pump or water feature will deter frogs from laying eggs in your pool.

The time it takes for a pool heater to heat a pool can range from eight to 48 hours, with an average of about 12 hours for the initial heating. For a more specific example, an average-sized 15,000-gallon pool may take six to 10 hours to heat up by 10 degrees. The exact duration depends on several factors, including the pool's size, the type and size of the heater, the starting water temperature, and the outside air temperature. It may take some trial and error to determine the precise time your specific pool takes to reach a desired temperature.

Water only runs through a pool heater when not in use if the heater doesn’t have a bypass system. A bypass system stops the flow of water through the heater when not in use. If you don’t have one, then yes, water will still run through the pool heater even when not in use. Not having a bypass system may increase the effects of wear and tear on your pool heater or disrupt the water’s chemical balance.

Swim spas are like hybrid hot tubs and pools. They have the heating and jets of a hot tub, but they’re slightly longer because they’re made for swimming and exercise. A jet provides a continuous current that acts like a water treadmill. You can swim the length of a full-size pool without going anywhere.
