"Jay and Kyle were outstanding! They arrived on time and provided a variety of options for the job. We had an old lamp post that was not grounded out front that produced a healthy shock if you touched it. The previous owners installed it improperly and it would have required a "thumper" to discover exactly where it connected to the house. Jay and Kyle offered a more affordable option--to simply cut off the wire and wrap it so we could remove the eyesore. Even though it was the end of the day, they went above and beyond to provide top-notch, friendly service. They even dug the lamp post out of the ground for me! 
Excellent service. I can't recommend them enough!!!

"One oven doesn't work at all ( my choice, see above), the "working" oven was never calibrated properly so using it is hit or miss. It's time to call American Home Shield to see about replacing the entire unit. I'm waiting to finish other home projects before calling them. I don't know if I'll request Greenway again."

You’ll spend less on a rectangular vinyl or fiberglass pool than on a concrete pool in an elevated style (think infinity pool or lagoon pool). Added features like heating, lighting, diving boards, or decking will increase your overall cost.

The depth of your pool depends on its intended use, the size of your lawn, and whether you opt for an in-ground or aboveground pool. Aboveground pools tend to be between four and six feet deep while in-ground pools range anywhere from three to eight feet. Permanent installations also have the option of shallow and deep ends.

Pool leaks most commonly occur at joints or where different materials meet. The most frequent leak spots include:

  • The Pool Skimmer: Where the plastic skimmer meets the pool's liner or shell.

  • The Pool Liner: Tears can develop in vinyl liners, especially those between 5 and 20 years old. Leaks also occur around the liner's edge.

  • Fittings and Accessories: Areas around return lines, the main drain, and pool lights are common culprits.

  • Pool Equipment: The pump, filter, and filter housing can also leak.

With a regular pool, the water is contained by visible walls that are higher than the water level. An infinity pool has one or more walls that are right at the waterline so they're not truly visible. For an invisible look, the lower wall is often made of glass or clear acrylic. The water laps over the lower edge and into a catch basin below where it gets pumped back into the pool.

There are some disadvantages to a salt water pool. Besides costing slightly more than chlorine pools, salt water pools require a lot of salt. It's also harder to find a professional with salt water pool experience to do minor maintenance and repairs. Salt water can also damage some materials, so you’ll need to use specific heating, fixtures, lighting, liners, and masonry when building a salt water pool.
