I recently had my roof replaced and paid the contractor in full after completion of the job as it looked O.K. from the ground. I am disabled and could not get up there to inspect the workmanship myself. Later I noticed some defects and so I hired Ken to do a roof inspection. He came out promptly and did a thorough inspection. By the next day I received a detailed written report and about 76 pictures of the poor workmanship on the new roof by the contractor. Ken said it was probably the worst job he had ever seen and recommended that the new roof be replaced. So we sent the report and pictures that I received from Ken to the roofer. We met the roofer shortly thereafter and the contractor agreed to give us a full refund rather than fight us in court because the report and pictures were indisputable and demonstrated without question the poor workmanship by the contractor. Ken exceeded my expectations. Lesson learned: Hire Ken before you make final payment to a contractor.

This is the second time I have hired Ken from Tri Cities Home Inspection. His attention to detail, customer service, politeness and knowledge the first time I worked with him made me only think of him for the second house I needed his services. When I called the second time he was able to schedule me in for the following day. As before, he was polite, answered all of my questions and went above and beyond! I would recommend him to any one who needs a home inspection in the Tri-Cities area of TN/VA!

The was inspector was very thorough, and gave me 116 pics general and detailed of the items he found. I had a few questions , and called him, and he explained everything I asked in detail and pretty much went over thr whole inspection . I was very pleased with his prompt service and attention to detail. I would definitely use him again if I have the need for another home inspector, I felt like he kept us from facing some possibly big ticket items in the future .

Ken responded quickly and professionally. He walked through the property after his inspection, and showed my husband and I what he found at the areas of concern. We never felt rushed, he took the time and answered all of our questions. Ken emailed us the detailed report that afternoon. The report included photos with a descriptions of where or what he was looking at, along with several page written report. I've used other home inspector but none that was as thorough as Ken was. We highly recommend Ken for home inspections and we will definitely hire him again.

Ken's experience was evident, and he provided a great service. He walked us through and pointed out both the minor and more significant problems. Not only that, he provided recommendations on how to fix the issues he found. The report he sent us included pictures and a detailed list of everything that needed to be fixed (minor and major) and was delivered on the same day of the inspection. Plus, he is very nice and personable guy and will shoot you straight. I would highly recommend him for home inspections. You may find a cheaper person out their, but you get what you pay for. If you want someone to just hurry through the inspection and be out of your hair in an hour or so, Ken isn't your guy. However, if you want a detailed evaluation of your home, Ken is your guy. Definitely, worth the money.

I’m a first time home buyer and didn’t have a clue why to expect but he was very thorough and took a lot of photos to make explaining things a lot easier as well.
