Family owned and operated, we remove all unwanted items including appliances, trash, furniture, old decks, fences, playground equipment, sheds,above ground pools, hot tubs and fallen trees. We recycle all eligible materials and provide prompt, reliable service. We use 2 16 foot trailers a 12 foot trailer and pickup trucks. We also have a landscape dumptruck . With are 16 foot dump trailer and our tractor with a bucket on it we also can remove piles of dirt. We are new to home advisor how ever we have been on thumbtack for approximately 3 years and as of 2-8-19 we currently have 177 5 star reviews. Give us a call today!

I got 3 quotes and Nick's was by far the most reasonable. He responded immediately and we easily scheduled the pick up. He is very personable and professional and I highly recommend him. "Great. We had two piles of deconstruction debris, and separately bagged old paint, herbicides, pesticides and other stuff we thought might need to be disposed of separately. JTR arrived to site on time, got everything on the truck within half an hour - forty minutes with the bags going on last and they left a pretty clean site. Was a full load. Reasonable price and great service, thanks!"

However, as time goes on and more food is ground, the grinding plates will slowly lose their edge and need replacing. A motor likely won’t last 10 or more years, but you should be able to get a minimum of five years at least, even under heavy usage. 

The most common garbage disposal size in the U.S. is 1/2 horsepower. This size is ideal for households with three or fewer people or those that don't produce much food waste. Although 1/2 horsepower can't handle the typical food waste load for a household of four (which is about 250 pounds of food waste annually) as effectively as 3/4 horsepower, it remains the most common size of garbage disposal on the market.

Garbage disposals are durable appliances that usually last at least eight years as long as you clean and maintain them. It’s relatively rare for a garbage disposal to break on its own, as most malfunctions happen due to user errors, like overstuffing the grinding compartment or damaging the blades by trying to dispose of metal or bone. Eventually, cracks or leaks could develop in the unit, which requires a full replacement. 

These appliances certainly increase the number of things allowed down the drain, but they’re not foolproof. There are several items you shouldn’t put in your garbage disposal, according to manufacturers and technicians. Don’t put coffee grounds down the drain. The same goes for eggshells, potato peels, hard foods, onion skins, and any dry, expandable food. Most importantly, never put grease or oils down the drain.
