"Dos Amigos is a strong local business and has provided us with all of our lawn care services for the past 9 months. Mowing (excellent when on the grass, but mowed over set of matched hydrangeas and a complete bed of lavender around a mailbox-twice), blow (excellent), edging (very poor consistency), fertilization (excellent), weed prevention (average to poor, branch and debris removal (poor). Communication appeared to be strong, but there are many layers between the workers and the owner. These layers may explain the $1565 monthly fee they charged. Many salaries, but communication to the ones who actually do the work can sometimes not be as easily communicated, so the return on the fee, we found to be far from worth it. We could recommend them for large commercial projects, but not for homes, particularly homes with gardens in addition to lawns."

He called in less than 10 minutes after I put in the request, was out to provide an estimate within the hour, and was incredibly kind when I didn't quite have the words to explain what I needed. We hired him and he was there the next day promptly and stayed until the job was done, which took the whole day. He did excellent work fixing the broken pipe and with excavating. The lawn was perfectly level after all the digging, was able to mow the next day without a hiccup. "Elder and Alex came by on a Sunday for a free estimate and gave me an excellent price. They cam in on Wednesday morning, took down a 32" walnut that was 15 feet from a fence and 20 feet from my deck. They trimmed another walnut, and branches on a maple that had branches overhanging the house and the electric service. They were on time, and were extremely pleasant and professional in their work. I wanted to save some of the wood to be sawn into lumber, and they cut those pieces exactly as I wanted and put them where they will have easy access for the sawyer. Their cleanup afterward was amazing. I highly recommend Elder and Alex for any of your tree work, and in fact asked for asome business cards to share with friends."
