Mountain View Painting

I called on Tuesday morning, no response. Called Wednesday late afternoon and was told I was on the list to call back. She said she'd get a estimate either that evening or first thing in the morning and call me with it. Days later and I have still never heard anything back. I suppose I will have to look elsewhere to get the job completed.

Sean never showed up. We were scheduled then rescheduled then rescheduled. When i called and left a voicemail, his wife called back said they had moved and some jobs were missed because of that. Although i have called multiple times they have never shown up. All of the prep work and all of the material on my end has been purchased they just don't call and don't show up. I don't know why they wasted my time quoting the job and asking my to purchase the material. I rearranged multiple events at my home and had to explain my contractor story to everyone. This experience has been HORRIBLE and i would NEVER recommend them to anyone.

They are very professional, personable and conscientious about the quality of work they perform. They went above and beyond the scope of work that was contracted. We look forward to hiring them again in the future. Sean and his team are fantastic. We hope to have them back in the early part of 2015 to complete the interior painting of our home.

Sean scraped our old paint and repainted the exterior. He used quality paint, got the job done in a timely manner, stuck to the cost estimate, cleaned up all paint chips, was friendly, he made sure everything was painted that we wanted, and we are happy with the job. I got multiple estimates on the job and he was in line with other painters.

Sean and his associate painter were great - when I inquired about anything he was very receptive and responsive. I was impressed and I am a hard person to impress. I would definitely use them again and have recommended his services to several people

It went pretty well from quote to job start. There was a delay due to bad weather . They did what was expected, in a neat fashion and were not messy. The owner Shawn was on the job with his crew everyday and kept the help in check and well supervised.

Sean is a pro; calls back and responds promptly and finishes on time. Then he does excellent painting work ---no mess whatsoever. We have called on him to do several paint jobs and finally the whole inside. He also does power washing of decks and has done ours three springs now --- he is thorough; it looks fresh and clean when he finishes.

I have an old house and every single room and hallway was wall papered. So we had the wall paper removed from the kitchen, bedroom, hallway and the bathroom. We had to fix the wall underneath and behind, because you never know what you are going to find, because all those walls were really in a mess, especially one up the hallway. He removed everything and painted the walls. The work was perfect, and the guy did a great job. As a matter of fact we thought he didn't charge us enough, because the amount of work he had done. He gave us the estimate, and I can't remember how much it was, probably a couple of thousand dollars, it might have been $1500. So once he started to get into everything, I knew he did a lot of extra work that he didn't charge us. The day he left, I was at work that day and I wanted to be the one to do it, but I told my wife to give him extra money. We gave him an extra $300, just to offset the extra work that he did. We are going to call him back as we have some other work to be done. He supplies the paint, and we paid for it. He works with his wife and she came out and we were discussing the colors and everything that we wanted. She said, we can save some money on the paint, because they have some brand new paint in their house and they haven't used it. She said she can give me a break on the course of the paint charges. That was very nice and pretty good. We will call them back as well. He did power wash the house too, and he did a good job on that. It was in October and I remember it was cold that day and the guy was up on the ladder, washing the house, it was cold and he was getting wet. It was miserable. He was worth the extra $300. They were prompt; they were here when they said they are going to be there. They were professional. They came here did a nice job and left. It took them several days because they had to do a lot of things. They took the paper down first and they came back the next day to prep the walls and were back again to paint the walls. It was nice and clean work, and that's what stands out. They are reasonably priced. With regards to the quality, it was not 100% their fault, because when you look at the hallway it was pieced together, before they got in here, but they did their best that they could to fix it. This is the second time I am using him. When I lived in the city he did some more for me and he did an excellent job. I wanted my house to be spruced up so that I could sell it.

We don't feel he charged us enough for the amount of work that he did. He brought the paint with him. He saved us some money on the cost of the paint. We will call them back. They did a great job.
