"Kevin Beard of Agile Tree Service responded to my Tuesday am request to shovel out our very long, unpaved driveway in a few short hours. He was excellent with follow-up. I sent pictures and he came out Wednesday morning to take a look at the job so he would know what equipment to bring. On Thursday, he came out promptly at 9am bringing a Bobcat and a larger machine to break the ice and negotiate a tricky turn in our drive. In three hours or so, the job was complete. The plow operator and the tree man he brought with him to scope out tree work I need later this year were very professional. Kevin went to extra lengths to get our driveway cleared quickly and well. His team is wonderful. His pricing was reasonable for the job and I appreciated his fairness. I'm looking forward to tree clearing through him in the future. I recommend Kevin and his company to you!"

"As best I can tell they did the roof service ok, and installed the snow catchers. The only problem was that at least 25% of the snow catchers fell durning the winter of 2015. I had someone else come out and reinstall them.

"Travis and Chris were a great team and did an amazing job bringing our guest bath out of the 80's and into a beautiful modern space. Travis worked with my husband and me on our design vision and helped us pick out materials to complete the renovation. From there, we made a deposit and scheduled a date. This was a complete bathroom overhaul that required all new fixtures. When they tore up the carpet (yes, carpet) in the bathroom they found that the floor was half the cement foundation and half wood subfloor, which made for an uneven surface not ideal for laying tile. Travis quickly came up with a solution that allowed us to level out the floor and put down the tile we wanted. This delayed the project slightly, but it was well worth it to have a beautiful finished product. Each evening Travis and Chris cleaned up the space as much as possible and were very respectful in our house. I would definitely hire Graham Restoration for our next project and look forward to working with them again!

"The owner arrived with two workers and a truck and trailer. They more than had the capacity to move my items. Initially, I showed them which items needed to be removed. They then, after receiving guidance from the owner set to work. The items were all on the second floor and they were sensitive to not hitting the walls or ceiling. They did not. They worked quickly and efficiently. There was no need for clean up."

"Original date was snowed out and rescheduled for 2 days later.  Dave (owner) consistently communicated with me that his company would be out 2 days later due to the snow storm.  He contacted me the morning of the move and his workers (Terry, Marcus, and Assad) were very professional and helpful.  Despite the snow and ice, they were extremely careful to keep the furniture clean and safe.  I appreciated the fact that they were able to fit all of the furniture (heavy) into the truck.  I would recommend this company to anyone."

"I needed to replace my roof and Kirk and team provided excellent service. They showed up on time and explained exactly what materials they were going to use, and why these were the best types of materials.
I liked that Kirk texted me with updates and used PayPal. Kirk and his team were responsive and courteous. A few weeks after the roof was replaced I got a small leak and Kirk and team immediately came back out to figure out what the issues was. They realized it was a flashing issue and fixed it free of charge.

Snow Removal questions, answered by experts

Snowblowers come in three different sizes: first-, second-, and third-stage blowers. Each additional stage is larger with higher intakes, more powerful, and has more gear options.

A first-stage blower, also called a snow thrower, is usually best for snow 6 to 8 inches or below. Electric snow blowers are usually only available in this size. If you regularly get snow that’s well above six inches, consider a second-stage snow blower. If snowstorms dump 2 to 3 feet of snow repeatedly during winter, you need a third-stage snow blower to tackle it.

DIY snow removal is entirely free, except for the cost of a shovel. However, it may not always be the best option for large driveways and areas with heavy snowfall; it’s strenuous work and can take a long time. Other wallet-friendly ways to remove snow include rock salt, hot water, a de-icing agent, or a leaf blower.

Ice dam removal costs anywhere from $650 to $2,000, with most people paying about $1,200 for this service. The price you pay will depend on a few factors, including the removal method. If your pro uses salt or tablets to get rid of the ice dams, you might only pay $200 to $300. But if they use steam, your costs could increase to $800 to $1,200.

It’s the reverse of home de-winterization. To winterize, you purge your plumbing system (including your water heater and all piping) of water. Some experts also recommend filling fixtures with an antifreeze solution. Other tasks involve winterizing sprinklers, sealing foundation vents, check weatherproofing around doors and windows, and more.

Yes, many providers offer emergency services during severe weather. Confirm availability with your contractor.
