- BNW BuildersTwo years ago I had roofing work done and the contractor told me the seal in my skylights was broken because the glass appeared cloudy and they could begin to leak soon. He stated I should have them replaced in the neat future to prevent this, and save energy. He offered to provide an estimate when I was ready. This month I called for an estimate for this job, and the price from the roofing contractor seemed very high. I called BNW for a second quote. Jason came the same week. He was personable, friendly, and professional. He provided an estimate about $500.00 less than the roofer, using the exact same replacement products. Jason asked why I was interested in this job, and I told him. Jason told me in his professional opinion the skylights were in good condition, they just needed cleaning. He said the current skylights were of good quality and should last many more years. Of course, BNW would be happy to replace them if this is what I wanted, but he felt I should know this was not currently necessary. This was all said with no negative comments about the roofing company at all. I felt Jason was offering his expertise, not disclaiming the other company. I know the purpose of this List is to praise good work, but I want to praise a company that hires workers with integrity and honesty like Jason. He save me about $1900.00 wasted on unnecessary work, not to mention time and mess. I will be adding a deck in the near future, and BNW will be the first company I will call from now on for estimates! Thanks, BNW and Jason!!

We called these guys and they came immediately to solve our dilemma. If they had not come when they did, we probably would have had damage to our furniture and further damage to walls and floors. - Allen Rasnake General ContractorDamage due to overflowing gutter was extensive. Removal of cedar siding revealed rotting 2x4's, throughout entire wall, plus a small portion of roof, two floor joists, one roof 2x10, and portions of the roof and floor of the Florida room. Allen and his crew of 3 worked M-F of one week and 2.5 days of following week to remove all rotted wood (including drywall) and rebuild the walls, and appropriate parts of floor/ceiling. Crew did a particularly good job of saving/removing two Pella windows that were not damaged and reinstalling them as good as new. Crew was punctual and on the job by 8:30 each morning and working to around 5 pm with about a 50 minute lunch break each day. Quality of the work was excellent. I was pleased enough with the quality and efficiency of their work that I added two smaller jobs I had been wanting to get done under the crawl space of my house that they were able to do one day when it rained. (replacing some concrete block and adding some support beams) I also had them install two new doors due to some rotting wood on the door jambs. Quality and Efficiency of these add on jobs was also excellent. I would definitely use Allen and his crew agai

- Allen Rasnake General ContractorAllen cane to assess the potential mold damage to our utility on Sunday, 8/19. He gave me an estimate very quickly and had his crew at the house early on Thursday, 8/23. They spent a day and a half removing the mold and set up fans Friday afternoon to dry out the sub-flooring over the weekend. As part of the process, Allen coordinated the safe removal of the old water heater with Jerry, the lead plumber at Absolute, who installed the new heater. He also came over on Sunday, 8/26, to check on the floor drying process so that the process could be completed on Monday, 8/27. He then came back on 828 to personally install shoe molding and trim the doors to ensure proper fit. We are so very pleased with his work on this project and also the time he spent in early September washing our house during a break between his other large projects. Allen and his brothers are so honest and are genuinely friendly and easy to work with. I hope I can catch him between his large projects in the future

"This is a copy of my email sent to them 3 weeks ago and I haven't heard back from them 😒 I wanted to share my feedback from my experience with The Drying Company. 1/ KNOWING YOUR PRODUCT The salesman assured me that they would be able to spray foam on existing insulation (Ceiling + Wall) because they have the best foam. When I asked him a second time, after another company told me that it would not work, he reassured me that it will work. So I signed with them. And when your technicians came on site, it did not work. BUMMER 2/ RECHARGING A LIFT => BEING EFFICIENT I provided a scissor lift for the technicians. And after working the whole day, they did not plug the lift in to recharge overnight. So when they arrived around 8 o'clock on Friday they could not work. 3/ CLEANING => DOING A NEAT JOB After the work was completed: The trash can was left full inside the warehouse. (See picture attached). The plastic protection was rolled up and dropped outside the warehouse alongside the dumpster (See picture attached). I have drops of spray foam on the drywall which was painted the week before they started the work & a BIG CHUNK above the restroom. (See picture attached). I am sorry but this is not acceptable. For a $35,000 job, I expected more professionalism. Even from the first day, when we had to unload your products from the truck, things were not as expected. I will not be recommending The Drying Company.
