From the start we were really impressed with Daniel and Erika and their friendly, down-to-earth demeanor, and their intentionality to listen to our thoughts and show us the overwhelming options. They were great at communicating throughout the whole project, very knowledgable and thorough. Their work crews were friendly, professional, amazingly clean, conscientious, hard-working, and detail-oriented in every regard of their work. "We were VERY disappointed with this company on multiple levels. When I balked at the estimate for the hardwood floor work, their phone rep claimed the job included a 3-year warranty on the sealer. It did not. After setting up their equipment, they explained that cleaning the carpeted stairs would cost nearly as much as the 3 rooms they cleaned. Their truck ran the whole 2+ hours they were there, forcing me to stop painting the garage as I was choking on fumes. The next day I found small stains on the stairs which I cleaned. When I inspected the hardwood floors, the finish was very uneven – glossy in some areas and dull in others -- which means they applied only a single coat of sealer and that the work was done poorly. When I asked for the warranty paperwork, the response was “what warranty?” This property is a rental unit and the new tenants moved in two days after this Zerorez work was completed. Zerorez management offered to inspect the work and add more sealer to the hardwood, but now there was furniture and boxes in the rooms. They refunded part of the overpriced hardwood job and had no explanation for the lie about the sealer warranty. I don’t expect vendors to be perfect, but this was one too many problems for two simple tasks. While we appreciate the partial refund, I will never use this company again and cannot recommend them to anyone."

"Terrible experience. We contracted with Prime Custom (Kamil) to do a full bathroom and kitchen remodel in 2021 and we have had tons of issues. Their license # 2705166476 that they were operating under has been REVOKED as of May 2024. You can check this for yourself by going to the Virginia state website [*** Link removed ***] and entering the License # 2705166476. Yes, the name on the VA state website is different but they were operating externally as Prime Custom. As proof, I have attached a picture of the contract which shows the above License # , and Prime Custom's name. They are now operating under a different license # 2705173804 which I find highly unethical. I have already filed a complaint with the Virginia Department of Professional and Occupational Regulation and they will investigate if any laws were broken. Before considering doing business with Prime Custom, or any other contractor, please ensure that you look up their license number on the above Virginia State website. Summary of my experience: - Bathroom: The shower has developed a major leak which is going through the bathroom floor into the lower level. See pictures. I am contracting with another company to fix, which is going to cost thousands of dollars. Kitchen - It failed gas and safety inspections multiple times. To this day, I am concerned about the structural integrity of the load bearing wall in the kitchen and am contracting with another company to fix. Hopefully, this review can save others from the extremely frustrating experience that I have gone through."
