"Chris’s team from Clifton Contracting was fantastic. I’d been searching for a company to install a basement egress window so we could have a legal basement bedroom. Chris was the third estimate I receive since the two other estimates I’d gotten from other companies seemed high, one other company had even quoted me $10k for a fiberglass egress tub. Chris’s quote was literally almost half that and it was for a stone egress…additionally he was very knowledgeable and clear regarding the pricing for not just the basic window egress but also a virtual a la cart list of pricing options I could add if I wanted. I went with stone/segmented wall options which ended up looking great. I also ended up having Chris’s team wire the basement bedroom to code (running wire and installing the outlets) in addition to wiring & adding an additional hardwired fire alarm to code. I was planning on doing that piece myself but given the pricing was pretty reasonable and he could knock it out at the same time and include it in the permit as a single project, it was an easy choice for me. Overall I’m very happy with the work and would definitely use them again."

Jordan Jones put a hanger inside the cover of the window so I could hang a plant. Jordan,Joshua Jones and all of the work crew were very professional and kind. The quality of the work is superb. I even had a custom closet made that l am very pleased with. The installation of the window was completed in a few days. The staff cleaned up well. Due to the heavy equipment used,part of my lawn was affected. JDS planted grass seed and the grass has already sprouted in just a few days. If it were not for Jordan, this project would not have been possible. It is without reservation that I highly recommend JDS Home Improvement. "The owner was prompt, personable, and explained choices and options very well. We chose to go with Stronghold even though we thought their price was a little high. The project was delayed very slightly because the trim color we selected was discontinued and we had to make another selection. The supplies were delivered and covered before installation. The installation was completed efficiently. One small piece at the gable end either fell or was not installed and we were not completely satisfied with the dormer wrapping. When he came for inspection of the finished project, the owner readily agreed with us and sent his crew back to fix it. They did a really nice job and the yard clean-up was impeccable. We are quite pleased with the end result. I would recommend this firm for both the quality of their work and the skill of the crew."
