This has to be the worst company for communication that I have ever had the displeasure to do business with. They fly under the other name of Payne Home Improvement . Ordered all exterior doors for my home in Mar 2025. Said the would be installed by the end of May. June no call no show. We contact them, they didn?t get the doors. They cashed our check though! Finally got them out in August and they didn?t order the right door for our outside bath. They cashed the final check though! Couldn?t secure it during hurricane season and they put a crap insert in until a new could be ordered. It?s now Nov 18 and I still have not got the correct door for our outside bath. They might return my call to tell me I?m on the schedule next week then blame everything but themselves. . They did paint our other doors to make up failing inspection and making me tell the work crew what they failed cause they didn?t know.

We have recently purchased and had installed 23 PGT Impact windows and 3 sliding glass doors on our home from Affordable Windows and Doors, and have been extremely happy with the process from end to end. We have remodeled our 30 year old house pretty much from top to bottom now and I must say, of all the trade company’s we have worked with, I do not recall a better experience overall from any of them. The owner Darrin came out and gave us a competitive quote, Maria in the office was fantastic, she is a very pleasant lady who handled all the paperwork and logistics flawlessly. The install team led by Dylan was amazing. The communication was really top notch. They showed up on time, performed the work with expertise, and cleaned up their work area at the end of the day. The inspector who came out from the county actually commented on how well the windows and slider were installed, and how good of quality the glass was. All in all, everything went great with Affordable Windows and Doors.

The windows are great. The installers did not show up until 10:30 am. Therefore the window installation was completed in the dark. A window sash was damaged. They took 3 months to get the new one. The initial installation was 5/2/2020. We finally had our inspection two days ago 9/18/2020. The window stickers must stay on the windows until after inspection. Contacting them has been tedious. We have a lifetime warranty. I hope we never need to use it.

Where to start. This has been the worst job I have ever had done at my house! From lies, poor installation and poor management. Stay away! Set install date out many days before they start. Send txt be there in a little bit. Finishing up other job. No call no show at all that day. Call the next morning coming to start. Show up work on a few windows starts to rain, said â we donâ t work when it rainsâ . I said â I have three windows & a set of French doors that are under a roof. You want get wetâ . Said see you tomorrow. I txt supervisor about it and he said â we didnâ t have anywhere to unload and leave doors.â I said â according to my cameras everything is between my garage and back porchâ . Thatâ s not what I was told. Be back tomorrow. Showed up with three guys and two left. One guy all day working on windows alone. I have a few that are 104 inches wide. Crap work. Next day one guy comes alone again, mind you each day different people not completely finishing anything. Only the last guy finishing up the work. Mind you he had to take a window out and frame it in do to other installer leaving a huge gap & wasnâ t right. Txted supervisor & told him & he said â find that hard to believe due to him being a veteran installer. On that Saturday I told them I wanted to get inspection on Tuesday so I could get items put back in house where they go. I get a call saying I didnâ t fill out paperwork needed for setting up inspection. Told them I did, cause I was told needed it to pull permit. Again I redone it. Then they blamed on getting inspection on county. So I called someone that knows someone there to check. I was told no problems inspection wasnâ t scheduled. After weeks go buy I send email and email complaining and someone calls to set it up. Inspection happens & they pass windows and fail door do to screws missing. I send txt to said owner about it soon as inspector tells me over phone and that caps and covers needed installed. This way I can put furniture back. Owner said we all over it! Week later still nothing send another txt & said we are scheduling it. Someone one called and showed up to put screws in & left. Said he would schedule next week to do caps and plugs for holes. On top of this I got told a lot of bs & said he was giving 300 off of 24k cause I was in happy. Got statement & nothing but lies. Still sitting here with crap everywhere cause I didnâ t want to have to move furniture again for them to finish. Beware!!!!

Family owned business that took a lot of pride in doing the work right. They installed everything in one day and did not leave a mess behind.

Excellent experience! From the owner to the installers very professional courteous and friendly. The job was done in a timely manner and product was much better than expected. If I had more windows I would use them again.
