"Coastal Bath did an excellent job with our tub to shower conversion. They gave us a very reasonable price and even rushed the installation to shut our schedule. The installation crew showed up on time, were very professional, and completed the project in seven hours. The finished product is beautiful. We're extremely happy with our comple experience with Coastal Bath. I would highly recommend them."

"Ismar from Jireh Remodelation cleaned my gutters and roof. He was professional, showed up on time, finished in a timely manner, and charged market appropriate prices. He even took before and after pictures so I could see how well the roof and gutters were cleaned. I plan to use Ismar's services in the future for gutter/roof cleaning as well as other projects. "They did a good job. She had to submit like a photo but my daughter had them work on the central are of the loft. The deal was for one room. She got a lot of good ideal from her and it was worth it for her. They were professional and I did not hear anything negative."

Kitchen and Bathroom Remodel questions, answered by experts

To make a small bathroom look bigger, choose light-colored tiles in a medium- to large-format size. Lighter colors like white, cream, or light gray help open up a room, making it feel larger and more airy. While it may seem counterintuitive, small tiles can actually make a bathroom look smaller because the increased number of grout lines creates a busy pattern that visually shrinks the space. Instead, opt for medium- or large-format tiles for a more seamless, expansive appearance. For the best effect, pair your tiles with a matching or similarly colored grout to create a continuous surface that enhances the illusion of a larger area. Avoid dark colors, heavy patterns, and contrasting grout, as these can make the space feel more confined.

Bathroom size and budget are two top factors to consider when designing and remodeling a bathroom. These considerations will impact what materials to buy and how much, and it can also determine what parts of the bathroom to prioritize and which to put on the back burner. Other things to consider include accessibility for your household and guests, color schemes, and functionality.

Completing a full standard bathroom remodel offers the best value, with an average return on investment (ROI) of 70%. However, you don't need a full remodel to make an impact. To maximize value, focus on key components like flooring, the tub and shower, vanity, and cabinets. High-value upgrades include installing a walk-in shower, resurfacing a tub, retiling, or expanding the shower. For more budget-friendly options that still increase value, consider repainting with a light, neutral color, or updating the mirror and light fixtures. It's also crucial to address any necessary repairs, such as leaks, mold, or cracked tiles, as buyers will notice these issues. Avoid flashy upgrades like bathtub jets or steam showers, which don't add as much value.

Home improvements that increase value offer a high return on investment (ROI) and can enhance your quality of life. Upgrades to your home’s curb appeal often add the most value, with garage door replacement having one of the best ROIs at 93%. Other high-value exterior projects include replacing your front door, upgrading siding and roofing, installing a stone veneer, adding new windows, and landscaping. For interior renovations, a fresh coat of paint provides an excellent ROI. Major projects like a kitchen remodel or upgrading appliances and HVAC systems also add significant value, as potential buyers appreciate the peace of mind that new equipment provides.

A bathroom addition project takes five to 12 weeks from the design stage to the end of construction, but it varies with the complexity of the project and your goals. Adding a small half bath takes less time than building a luxurious, high-end primary bathroom. It could also take longer if you need to run new electrical and plumbing in the room.
