"Billy and his crew did an incredible job. I needed help painting over an extremely dark color - I was worried about the white not being able to cover the dark color. The crew had to do three coats, but it looks amazing and you would never know the walls use to be very dark. I am very happy with the work they did! Thank you!"

Small jobs welcome

"A pleasure to work with David and his crew. Great communication, great service. Workers were here each day until the job was finished. Prepped and painted the exterior of my 2-story house, with accent trim and doors, power-washed and oiled my wood decks- all within 4 days!! David responded quickly to questions and went the extra mile to make sure I was happy with the work. My house looks amazing! Very pleased with the value for the price. Would hire again."

"These guys were very prompt and fast at their job. They were way cheaper than the other estimates I got from other people too without sacrificing quality. They did the job thoroughly and well. My house looks amazing now! I am so happy with the work and will use them in the future and refer them to anyone else that needs them."

Deck Staining questions, answered by experts

It’s best to use an exterior latex acrylic paint to promote maximum adhesion to composite decking. This flexible paint type can better cope with the natural expansion and contraction that can occur with composite deck boards. Oil-based paints won’t adhere as effectively and are more likely to crack and peel as the boards flex. Testing whether your chosen paint will stick on an inconspicuous section or a spare board is a good idea.

The plastic in composite decking boards protects them enough that you do not need to paint them to prevent warping. In fact, painting composite decking voids the warranty of some manufacturers. Painting can also increase maintenance on the deck, as you must paint regularly to keep it looking its best.

Yes, it's a good idea to sand the wall with fine-grit sandpaper after spackling, especially if you plan on painting. You can do this by hand or using a sander, but the idea is to ensure the spackle is flush with the wall. Sanding will give your wall a smooth, uniform finish and help your paint and wallpaper stay put.

Choosing the best color for your home exterior should factor in longevity as well as your personal taste. To keep your house looking newly painted as long as possible, stay away from red paint. Although red homes pop and are quintessential for country-style barns, red paint tends to fade fastest in the sun. Go with earth tones if you want paint that best resists fading.

Whitewashing isn’t permanent, but it can last for a long, long time. When you apply it correctly or have a seasoned pro whitewash your brick, whitewashing can last for 20 to 30 years or longer. Whitewash is very durable and typically requires little maintenance, making it a great project for most DIYers.
