"Contractor did everything they said they would do.  They understood a major deck project would follow the bulk of their work and that they would have to come back to patch and paint spots where deck handrails would have been detached from walls, then reattached.
They knocked themselves out matching two paint colors......went back to their paint supplier 2  or 3 times to satisfy the lady of the house.  When they returned after the deck was finished, we had them install and  paint a stucco band along the perimeter of the deck to hide the new flashing put in by the deck people.
Everybody involved kept asking us if they were missing anything and,  indeed, they were fussier than we were, finding spots that needed fix-up that we had not even noticed.    Premises were  cleaned up every day.
