When he came back, I invited him to walk the property and bid on patching and repainting problem areas of the house and walls. And depending on the work of the day, it was quite a crew. As many as seven energetic, highly skilled young men who, I discovered, were all members of his family. They always worked until sundown, sometimes later. On the last day, they came back after dark to finish the clean-up. In the end, the work was excellent, as was the total price.
