"Jerel is the bomb. He consulted us about our house and helped us figure out what was the best route for getting our home cleaned up. He was in and out in a jiffy and educated us about his system. I am a Realtor and appreciate having a go-to guy like Jerel to call whenever one of my clients has a mold issue. I've already referred him to one of my clients that unknowingly had mold growing under their master bathroom shower, and he did a great job for them. Reliable, responsive, cheap, and effective."

"Black mold removal can be very difficult. Their patented technology makes the process complete. Once they fog and clean and fog then test the air you will have complete assurance the mold is eradicated. This was an old home and it is great to know it is mold free. Very reasonable for the peace of mind it gives."

"Called and did a mold test and it came back positive for mold. I was able to schedule the next week. They came on time, were very friendly and answered any question I had. They didn’t take all day. Very fast and didn’t waist my time. They were very reasonable on the price for the treatment."

Mold Testing and Remediation questions, answered by experts

Mold thrives in high-moisture environments, whether that’s steady leaks or just high condensation. Around the house, common causes of mold include leaky pipes, a leaking roof, high humidity, poor ventilation, a damp basement, rotting food in the fridge, wet clothing and towels not hung properly for drying, a leaking foundation, and a leaky air conditioner.

And, of course, if your home suffers from flood damage, you stand the risk of developing mold in the aftermath. That’s why it’s important to act quickly at the first sign of mold.

Hazardous waste is waste that poses a threat to human or environmental health. This generally refers to waste that is flammable, corrosive, toxic, or reactive. To confirm if the waste you need to remove is considered hazardous waste, contact your local hazardous waste facility.

PVC is not considered a hazardous waste in most areas, but regulations vary by location. If in doubt, you should contact your local sanitation department to confirm. The Center for Biological Diversity (CBD) has been working to get PVC classified as hazardous waste, so it’s possible that it will be considered as such in the near future. If it is, disposing of PVC will require the use of a hazardous waste disposal facility or transporter in your area.

Toxic mold doesn't have a specific color; instead, toxicity depends on the type of mold and the mycotoxins it produces. Stachybotrys chartarum (also known as black mold) is notorious for its potential toxicity. However, not all molds appearing black are Stachybotrys chartarum. Mold species that appear in various colors, such as green, gray, brown, or black, can also produce mycotoxins. Therefore, it's essential to focus on identifying the type of mold through professional testing rather than relying solely on color to determine its toxicity.

Homes should be checked for mold annually, especially if you live in an area with high humidity or frequent rainfall. Inspections are crucial following flooding, roof leaks, or plumbing issues. More frequent checks are necessary if your home has a history of mold problems or water damage. Regular inspections help detect mold early, preventing costly remediation and minimizing health risks, especially in moisture-prone areas such as basements and bathrooms.
