"1 day cleared ALL the alfalfa covering the 1/2 acre Back yard. Even removed the concrete slab that's been there since 2006. Didn't overcharge us. YEAH! Even removed (tiller & bobcat) the wildflowers (actually mostly weeds) section of my weed infested 'garden', left the 4 producing tomato plants. The fixed feral cat stayed either in the garage or BY in spite of all the noise and dust."

I take pride in showing up on time, keeping job sites clean, and making sure every project is done right the first time. "We were in a difficult spot & a less reputable company could have taken advantage of the situation. Salt Lake City called notifying us of continuously flowing water and a very sharp increase in our water bill. We needed to shut off the main water line immediately. After the City came out, we looked on Angi and found "Low Price Landscaping & Sprinkler." They came quickly, assessed the situation, provided a price that lived up to their name, and started work immediately. They kept us informed of what they were doing and why. They worked diligently and efficiently completing the job much sooner than we expected and on budget. We would highly recommend "Low Price Landscaping & Sprinkler." We have already referred them to our son."

Plant Watering questions, answered by experts

Drywalling a garage is a smart decision if you want to protect your garage from fires, moisture damage, and exterior noise. Most garages have flammable supplies that could result in serious damage in the off chance of an accident. Drywall is fire resistant, helping to prevent fires from spreading. Not to mention, drywall can improve the appearance of a dingy, old garage.

The cost to install drywall is between $1.50 and $3 per square foot, while shiplap installation costs between $2 and $7 on average. In most applications, shiplap installations cost more than that of putting in drywall. However, several ways exist to reduce shiplap prices, especially for small locations or accent walls, which can keep the total cost of shiplap competitive with that of drywall.

Yes, a one-story house can have a load-bearing wall. The load-bearing walls in a single-story home are usually the exterior walls. If the house has a basement with exposed walls, the arrangement of the beams can help indicate what walls are load-bearing.

Yes, walls on the top floor can be load-bearing if stacked on the floor’s foundation.

The two most common drywall thicknesses for ceilings are 1/2-inch and 5/8-inch. For most standard residential applications, 1/2-inch drywall is sufficient and widely used. It provides adequate support and is lighter and easier to handle during installation compared to thicker sheets. However, 5/8-inch drywall is often used for specific cases where additional benefits are needed. It is heavier but provides superior sound dampening and fire resistance. You should consider using 5/8-inch drywall for ceilings in commercial buildings, between a garage and a living space, or above a finished basement to meet building codes or for enhanced soundproofing.
