"Rafael was super friendly throughout. His crew did an outstanding job removing weeds and trimming bushes and trees. They were very friendly and easy to work with too. I will be using their services on a regular basis for weed maintenance next spring/summer/fall and for occasional snow removal this winter."

"This company removed our old, dead lawn.  It was great.
The brought in new sod and it was awful.  It was mismatched and looked like it was already brown and dying.
We called this company and discussed our concerns.  The responded with a crew that removed the sod and replaced it with the most beautiful sod you have ever seen.  Although the initial sod was not what they promised or what we expected, they made it right.  We have the most beautiful lawn on our street.  As with all contractors...stand your ground and make them deliver what they promise.  Don't settle.  The final word...I would use them again....and again....and again.  Mistakes happen and they are willing to make it right.

"Mr. Gerardo Lopez was prompt in returning my first phone call to him and he agreed to meet me for an estimate that same evening. He arrived at 5:00 pm as agreed, and he gave me a very reasonable estimate for the work my yard needed. He stated he could perform the work the following day and said that he and his crew (his wife and 2 other men) would arrive at 9:00 am. They did arrive as promised and promptly began working. Mr. Lopez even picked up the mulch the job required with his truck.
They are very hard workers and worked steadily for about 4 hours. All of the work was done to my satisfaction. My messy, overgrown yard looked so nice when they were through. I noticed that neighbors were stopping and asking him to also provide them with estimates. I hope he will find other work in the neighborhood.
Mr. Lopez and his crew were all polite and business-like. I have made arrangements with him to come by every two weeks to maintain my yard. They came by on June 15, and again, the work was done to my satisfaction. He even called me the day before to let me know he would be there.
I would gladly recommend him to others who need similar work done.

Plant Watering questions, answered by experts

When sanding drywall mud, you’re going to create a very fine dust that may contain silica. Silica dust contains crystalline silica, which can cause long-term illnesses for people who inhale it in significant quantities. Wear a mask while sanding drywall. Then dampen a drywall sponge to wipe the dust off the drywall, helping to reduce the amount of dust that may become airborne.

Drywall can be toxic to the environment and to humans in some cases. As drywall breaks down in a landfill and comes in contact with other organic chemicals, it can create hydrogen sulfide gas or leach into the groundwater. Additionally, the CDC recommends methods for controlling the inhalation of drywall dust when handled. While the common ingredients of drywall—gypsum, silica, and mica—are naturally occurring, they can cause irritation in some humans.

If you plan on heating your garage, you must install a vapor barrier when drywalling the garage. A vapor barrier protects your garage from frost and mold that can occur through condensation. If your garage is unheated, you don't need to install a vapor barrier. The only exception is if you regularly crank the heat in your car before getting in it. In this case, you may still want to install a vapor barrier, as your car can heat your garage.

The age of your home can clue you in to whether you have plaster or drywall ceilings. Homes built after the ‘70s are more likely to have drywall ceilings and walls, while older homes have plaster. You can also do the pushpin test: A pushpin will go into drywall, whereas it’s much harder to push one into a plaster wall. If you’re still unsure, ask a drywall professional to let you know which type of ceilings and walls you have.

The time it takes for thinset to dry is determined by your room’s ambient temperature and humidity levels. Assuming the average humidity level is around 40% with an average temperature of 70 degrees Fahrenheit, thinset can dry within 48 hours. Lower temperatures and higher humidity can extend the curing process beyond 72 hours, while high heat and zero humidity can shorten the curing process. However, thinset can crack if it dries too fast.
