"We had our tree trimmed and so did our neighbors. He thinned them out and shaped them beautifully. He did an excellent job and his prices are very reasonable! He was very polite and professional. Furthermore, he did all the clean up and made sure the street and properties were clean. He was punctural and followed through doing a complete job. Both my neighbor and us highly recommend him."

"Super happy to have found Green Arbor when I needed tree work done at my new house. James completed a couple of projects for me, including tree removal, fruit tree pruning and a tree transplant. All the work was expertly completed at a very fair price. Look forward to working with Green Arbor in the future for tree maintenance. I highly recommend this company for any tree needs you may have!"

"They didn't really do a good job. It was another case of what they said they were going to do they didn't really do. They come out and they say "hey we are going to take a tree out or two for you" and I said okay how far are you going to take it down and they were like "well we'll take it down to the bottom we'll dig 6 inches into the ground and we'll get down that far and we'll cover up the dirt you'll never even know the tree was here but we're not going to stump grind it." So I come back and there's like 8 to 12 inches above the ground. He came over and solicited me because he was doing a neighbors yard. They said they would clean up but they left kind of a mess. The estimate they gave me and the actual bill they gave me they actually had to charge me a little bit more as they initially said $300.00 but they came back and said it was like $350.00 and then I just think if they are coming to my house asking to do work and I did not reach out to them they should do what they said they were going to do and at least bring the stumps down to the ground. I would say to watch them on the estimate and advise to be there when they are doing the work. The price was still fair for the work as one tree was big and one was a medium size tree. They showed up when they said they would."

Arborists questions, answered by experts

Generally, you’ll want to avoid pruning more than 25% of the tree’s canopy at one time. While pruning your tree is important, it’s possible to do it too often or to go too far. Again, this is why hiring a tree trimming pro to do the work is wise. However, if you do decide to DIY, going slow and trimming gradually is the name of the game.

If you’re buying a small tree with lots of room to grow, expect to pay around $100 to $200 for a potted version. But if you’re buying a larger tree—say one over 10 feet—prices rise, starting in the $500 to $600 range and increasing quickly from there. Keep in mind that paying for professional palm tree planting or transplanting services will increase the cost.

To maintain trees on a commercial property, perform regular pruning, monitor for diseases, and apply fertilization to promote healthy growth. It is also important to remove any hazardous branches to keep the trees healthy and prevent potential liability issues.

If a tree stump is removed properly, the chances of a tree growing back are low. However, if a tree has a robust root system, roots can sometimes sprout and someday grow into a tree. The chance of regrowth will depend on several factors such as the type of tree, soil quality, and strength of the root system. In general, it is not recommended to plant a tree where a stump was removed.

If the roots are still alive, the dead tree will usually try to put out new shoots. That doesn’t mean the tree will survive or that the dead parts of a tree will come back to life. If parts of the tree have died and turned gray or rotten, nothing will bring them back to life and they need to be safely removed.
