"We had our tree trimmed and so did our neighbors. He thinned them out and shaped them beautifully. He did an excellent job and his prices are very reasonable! He was very polite and professional. Furthermore, he did all the clean up and made sure the street and properties were clean. He was punctural and followed through doing a complete job. Both my neighbor and us highly recommend him."

"James is very knowledgeable, he seemed to care about my trees almost as much as I do. He trimmed three big fruitless mulberries and took out two dead trees. The cleanup was fabulous. He is my new tree guy."

"They didn't really do a good job. It was another case of what they said they were going to do they didn't really do. They come out and they say "hey we are going to take a tree out or two for you" and I said okay how far are you going to take it down and they were like "well we'll take it down to the bottom we'll dig 6 inches into the ground and we'll get down that far and we'll cover up the dirt you'll never even know the tree was here but we're not going to stump grind it." So I come back and there's like 8 to 12 inches above the ground. He came over and solicited me because he was doing a neighbors yard. They said they would clean up but they left kind of a mess. The estimate they gave me and the actual bill they gave me they actually had to charge me a little bit more as they initially said $300.00 but they came back and said it was like $350.00 and then I just think if they are coming to my house asking to do work and I did not reach out to them they should do what they said they were going to do and at least bring the stumps down to the ground. I would say to watch them on the estimate and advise to be there when they are doing the work. The price was still fair for the work as one tree was big and one was a medium size tree. They showed up when they said they would."

"We found this company on Angieâ s, and unlike some of the past suggestions, we were very very happy with this company. Tyler was an outstanding communicator, and very easy to work with, listening to what we wanted and needed. He was very knowledgeable and we were very comfortable with hiring him to trim our palm trees. An appointment was set up to complete the project, Tyler and Logan let us know they were on their way and were punctual. It was obvious they had pride in their work. They worked hard and left our yard cleaner that when they started. We will be calling them every year to maintain our trees. We are very happy!"

"We hired Bedrock Landscaping and Pete Anderson to trim trees, bushes and garden areas. He worked tirelessly on front and backyard, even during a rainstorm. The results of his work is exceptional, and we are very pleased with the yard outcome. He provided his business card which explained all the services he provides to people. We hired him based upon his estimate and costs. Another reason was due to his , professionalism, his thoroughness , and going beyond what was required . I highly recommend Bedrock and Pete Anderson to our friends and family"

Arborists questions, answered by experts

Stump grinding consists of removing the visible part of the stump, but the roots remain intact. Depending on the tree and root system, the roots may still grow after stump grinding. If you are concerned about root growth and damage, you may want to consider having a stump removed completely.

Yes, tree roots can regenerate after they’re pruned or cut. In fact, trimming can stimulate new growth, especially in healthy trees. The tree’s roots can still grow back even after a tree is cut down, (and learning how to get rid of regrowing tree roots is a separate feat). Still, if you don’t wish to harm a tree, pruning the roots should be done with extreme care, and ideally by a professional.

Peach trees don’t tend to live as long as other types of trees and crops. They tend to last only about 12 years, and you shouldn’t expect to see a full peach harvest each of those years, either. Young peach trees need a few years to get established before they produce fruit, but you should have plenty of peaches for your pies and cobblers during their mature years, around years four through eight.

Palm trees are unique in that their roots don't grow straight down; they grow horizontally. Typically, palm tree roots go down between 12 and 36 inches deep. The roots grow far and wide from the base of the palm tree to absorb as much water and soil nutrients as possible. In addition, the horizontal roots are also very strong—keeping palm trees stable and helping them sway during storms.

If you don’t stake a tree that needs support, it could be at greater risk of being damaged or failing completely, whether it uproots or falls over. That could cause damage to your property or other surrounding trees. If you want to grow healthy trees, you may need to stake them for best results.
